In the present situation where every body is running after money, from whatever means, he is resorted to giving bribe. If each and every citizen of this country is determined that he will be ready to suffer losses instead of giving bribe to get his work done, then I think there is no cause for corruption to prosper. The corruption prosper when we think only for ourselves and not for others. In day to day life we see that most of us want to get our work done on priority basis for which we are ready to offer bribe. Until and unless this mentality is changed I don't think that anything will happen. Hum Badlenge Yug Badlega, Hum Sudhrenge Yug Sudhrega. If each Indian gets determined not to give bribe for his genuine cause, the problem will be reduced to a great extent. Since we can't wait for our turn, we give bribe and that is the biggest source of corruption in the system.
