why delhi doordarshan not covering anna??

Majority of views mentioned above are good about Delhi Door-Darshan (DD).

However, as Annaji and Team Anna members have expressed that they will fight and work only on BHARTHHACHAAR (Corruption) and not take up any other matter which need a reach to Delhi (Parliament through Politics), DD people might have imagined that these people only wish to have "Delhi ke Darshan door se to in ko zyada karib lane ki kya zarurat he".

But the way mischievous practices of earlier Congress led Govts. in past 65 years didn’t work, this will also not deter the common man (Bhartiya) to be with Annaji.

One serious talk now:

The way Team Anna's original members have been leaving and providing enough Material (Massala) to Media (especially DD and some sold-out newspapers/ journalists) to take a dig over Annaji's movement, now we all must send a message to Team Anna that they should present a clear-cut Agenda about entering or not entering into POLITICS directly or indirectly through INDEPENENT Candidates or otherwise before mass.
This will help to crores of Bhartiyas to chalk their future plan in more effective way. Many times, I hear and read views (or say fear) about ELECTION Expenses. My dear all,
When Deshnayak Subash Chandra Bose went ahead with the formation of Azad Hind Fauj--- did he possess Millions of rupees in his pocket?,
When Jai Prakashji started his movement----did he possess Crores of rupees in his pocket?

So if these movements could get a Thumbing Success with Bhartiyas’ Money and physical assistance then why can’t Annaji and Team Anna will get this support from 119 crores Bhartiyas.

Just getting praise from some so called HONEST PEOPLE will not work now as from the Ramilala ground once Annaji himself said that inki prashansa par mat jana yeh uppar se prashansa karte he to nichey se Chuha andar daletey he.

Media have their own compulsions. And these compulsions are not always above board. As for DD, there is no point in castigating it for it is the mouth piece of the government of the day. But if you thought private channels will take up your cause, people's cause, for nothing, you are living in that paradise usually occupied by the fools...If it were not so, media should have highlighted the blatant violation by the government the provisions of its own statues. Banks have pension regulations in operation which have been trampled upon by the recent wage settlement. Every statue has been violated and even the terms of settlement have been violated by banks, RBI, IBA and the government of India and a massive fraud of public money has been committed by various banks to the extent of Rs. 100000 crore. But look at the media! They haven't spoken a word. Media will speak only when it got paid.

We are living in a money oriented society. Do not expect to find good samaritans. Anna is an exception which is why he commands so much of respectability. That is perhaps because he is above money. And this liberalization has turned even gods into a money making business. Look at the temple treasures all over the country. If all the wealth from all temples is brought out, India's budget will have surpluses for several years. The problem however is when money becomes 'all important' and rises above god and godliness there is an all round moral decline. India is passing through that stage, but this movement against corruption has given us a ray of hope. Media or no media, hopes kindles more hope. Time to cling to hope and forge ahead.

First of all, let me clear that this thread is for improper coverage of Annaji's movement by DD and does not seem for a comparison between DD and Private Channels. Majority of above mentioned views in this thread are indicating accordingly and there seems to be no praise for private channels.

Either anybody live in Fools Paradise or not but this is very clear that DD is a Channel which fall under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Govt. Of India. So, one can not put blame on officials' workings but discussion about Govt.'s intention towards Good Work done for the society and the way it is trying to misinform majority Bhartiyas about the fact, should not be ignored.

Moreover, if Annaji can stand above the Money and be an exception then why can't we the followers of Annaji's views do and think on the same lines?

By just taking it granted that today "Money is above the All" in this liberalize era, Bhartiyas can not give it up so easily.
As far as SUPPORT of People of BHARAT is concerned, this is not too old episode -- part of Movement of Annaji at RAMLILA GROUND, New Delhi for 14 days, to analyse the fact.

Here, at one point of time Team Anna was forced to announce that "No further Donation Please" we had received enough money for a Month long Agitation.
In case of physical presence, Delhi -- today a luxurious Metro of Modern India had witnessed a big row of more than 1,00,000 of Bhartiya right from INDIA GATE to RAMLILA GROUND.
What message one can get from this..........?

Dear all Bhartiyas be positive on the grounds that 119 crores (leave apart 1 crore Modern Indians with a specs of Money) still believe in purity instead materiality. Generating Money is not bad but money with bad tactics is in question.

Hopes will kindle more hopes. One fondly hopes the money and wealth accumulated in temples of treasure will be put to good use. One also fondly hopes that the custodians of these accumulated wealth will not knock at the doors of the judiciary to seek control over it while millions die around for want of food and shelter. We are after all in god's land. There is no end to hoping. Yes, electronic media have done a great job. But as they say, you are known by your latest act. The latest act is--media have ignored many areas that needed to be highlighted. And it is because these areas did not promise enough money to them. Should media have not taken up the issue of fraud in the balance sheets of SBI, Bank of Baroda and host of other banks who delved into various provisions to inflate their balance sheet and thereby deceive the shareholders? Should media have not taken up the issue of amortization allowed to banks when no such arrangements were made for the employees who were forced to pay for pension in one go? If pension is also to be bought, what is the difference between pension and insurance? If media were alert, they would have slammed and exposed the government for allowing a scam of over Rs. 100000 in banks.
