Read if you have 5 Mins... (Plz)

I can never follow anything blindly.. Just because the whole world is saying that A for Apple... I never agree to them... I can prove that A can be for Bat also.. and if I can't then I will agree with them. Similarly just because all of you praise for these two Super Human Beings... My opinion stands at far more distance from yours...

Sachin Tendulkar... needs no introduction... God Of Cricket.. This little master blaster is a great human being. Next to God, rather if there is God, He can-not be better than Sachin.. We are lucky that He has taken birth in India. His fans follow him blindly.

Amitabh Bachchan... another name who needs no introduction. Star of the Lifetime and Youth Icon at this age... A great human being.. possess all the qualities of God. We are very lucky that he is also an Indian... His fans follow him blindly.

Even I agree with those who say this... but my opinion changed last year... and last month I completely differ. Anna's or Ramdev's movement was for the right cause and for the betterment of the society. Today if we have the advantage of RTI, it's just because of Anna ji. Gen. V. K. Singh, Anupam Kher Sir, Shekhar Kapur Sir... and so many like them came publicly to support the cause... And their fan following followed them. I think that these two most prominent, most honourable personality of India should have supported the cause.

But they were silent... Y??? There can be so many reasons... I dont want to dwell into that... Even I am a great fan of Sachin Sir and Amitabh Sir... but today at this very moment I feel ashamed of myself... that how I followed and moved on the same path on which the whole world is moving.. Making huge scores, new records, breaking all the barriers, giving hits after hits... is not all that and only that... to show your love for the country.. If you do each n everything but you stay quiet when something wrong is happening then who-so-ever you are, what-ever you have done... dat all goes to waste... And that too when you are a public icon... when you represent India internationally.

I am sorry Sachin Sir and Amitabh Sir for this post/blog/tweet of mine...
I shared what I felt... Perform for India and make everyone proud...

I feel that any society would need reservations if there is a particular part in the society that has been purposly neglected, made to feel backward, has been denied goods and services owing to their condition that has been rendered to them because of social taboos created over the history and that has no bearing on their current state. I think with the same reasoning, the constitution of India also made provisions of reservations and rightly so.

But few things have gone wrong in the process and these are:

1. Political parties have used reservations to communalise the issue to garner support from particular sections of the society and in the process further alienated the sections.
2. The consitution did not make provisions to make reservations policy a closed loop i.e. it did not decide when or under what conditions to render somebody 'Reservation Free'.
3. There are not so stringent laws to curb racism, casteism.

My proposal is that reservation should be provided at most twice covering two generations. It will the moral responsibility of that generation to alleviate themselves and others in the family to bring them at par. This ofcourse has to be backed with very stringent laws to curb racism, casteism in all spheres of the society so as to create a strong deterrance and a culture of equality.

The problem in India is that despite reservations and because of lack of accountability and lack of stringent laws, the people who the reservations should have targetted still remain poor and still dont have access to services that they deserve. I think the Indian govt. should take following steps:

1. Bring out policies (even if they're forceful) to educate the weaker sections of the society. Give them the instruments first to decide their own future first and then let them decide if they need reservations or not even if they fit under the reservation category.

2. Create an accountability system using the Adhaar UID scheme and create a vast web of IT support infrastructure to monitor govt. services, Public distribution etc etc etc covering virtually everything. Make every citizen of this country accountable.

3. Bring out strict laws (even if it requires capital punishment if racism is proven beyond doubt and in a most henoius form e.g. that has affected someone life beyond repair) against racism, casteism.

4. The reservation category should exclude those individuals who fall within the category (based on their caste- I hate this word!) but are economically rich or better off to support their family.

5. The reservation category should also include monetarily poorer sections of the society.

6. And ultimately, the reservation based on Caste should be abolished after say 50 years and make Reservation purely a factor of 'Monetary earning' i.e. if you are really really poor or are disabled, you get reservations.

i think the reservation system for all is bad. we all are human so from that simple concept we all are equal .
reservation is object for today's political leaders from that they done politics as well as corruption. and make rift in between two religions using that reservation formula.

Hi All True Indians,
Reservation is required for poor and downtrodden but the way Govt is adopting it not justified.
If a separate state of all poor and downtrodden is given and possible help is given to them ,then Do you think their uplift is possible ?
Perhaps answer is no because it is only divide & Rule of this Black Govt.

I fully agreed that all political parties had turned the reservation policy as a tool to be remain in politics for their personal growth rather then national interest.
