Vishnu Srivastava: Introduction

Hello friends!!

I am Vishnu Srivastava with four decades of experience of serving a premier autonomous productivity, management consultancy, training and research organization under the Govt. of India. I am a freelance management consultant and a trainer. I continue to share my professional expertise through Management Mantra Training & Consultancy (MMTC), the gateway of the Management Mantra Samiti, a non-profit NGO blessed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Supreme Teacher of Enlightenment and founder of the Art of Living Foundation International (a UN NGO). I underwent its basic and advance courses in yoga.

I hold a Master’s Degree in English literature from Agra University and a three-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from the University of Mumbai.

I have hands-on experience of guiding and working for some important national and regional consultancy and research projects like Rural Marketing Studies, Integrated Cooperative Development, Ancillarisation of Indian Industry, High Technology-based Aluminum and Downstream Products, Scientific Glassware and Bottles, Building Boards, Designing a Service Manual for a State Government undertaking, Technology Upgradation and Marketing Strategies for prominent crafts, Productivity Improvement in Lacquerware Craft, Productivity in Indian Lock Industry, Intensive Village and DOT Level Study of the Village Public Telephones, Role of UP State Sugar Corporation as a Growth Centre, Corporate Planning, and Informal Sector.

I was a core faculty in several national, regional and corporate training programmes for workers, supervisors, executives and managers. I was a guest faculty in various HRD, marketing and export management training programmes of Controller of Defence Accounts, SISIs, DICs, Oriental Insurance Co. and State Bank of India etc.

Several of my professional papers and articles have been published in prominent dailies and periodicals like the Economic Times and the NPC Productivity Journal. I also reviewed professional books and acted in a Films Division documentary “A Day with Gopal.”

I have a loving wife Sudha (Sudha Srivastava | Facebook). We have a son Manish, MCA and a Bradford University (UK) MBA, currently working as an Account Manager with NIIT Technologies Ltd., Bangalore. He is married to Juhi, also a Software Engineer who worked for Satnam IT Solutions, Singapore as their IT Manager- Major Accounts. They have two naughty sons Yash and Aayush. I have a loving daughter, Sharmila, a Software Engineer once a Senior Faculty, NIIT. She is married to Mr. NK Lall, BE (Electrical), PGDBM, PGDMM, Head (Proposals) with Tyco Thermal Controls India (P) Ltd., Noida. They have a sweet little daughter Vishakha fondly called Gullababa by me. Not to forget my spoilt dog Caesar, a five-year old German Shepherd very much attached to me.
