Dear Friends, its not easy the way you are talking abount terms & conditions for candidates. It is not easy task.Hopefully you would agree with me that party should have farmers , people from labor class etc. and they might not be graduate etc. Don't run your mind too fast.A political party need to establish its base , a candidate need to understand the locality, its problems and above all , he should be accessible.India is full of "Bagula Bhaktas". Full of any kind of degree and t&c.We need to make sure that political families are rooted out from Indian politics and a common man emerges as the center of power.Presently we live in democracy , but no body knows who voted PM in Power and who Voted Prez? Lets start afresh.

Smile Candidate must fulfil integrity

1) Candidate must have devotion towards NATION work AND SHOULD NOT HAVE ATTITUDE TO EXPECT ANYTHING IN RETURN LIKE fame, publicity, or wealth.

2) Must be literate enough to understand policies of INDIAN politics and should able to speak English in parliament in order to defend opposition when require.

3) If candidate found guilty during his tenure in parliament or within TEAM ANNA he/she should not only be ask for resignation but also must be punish by TEAM following legal proceedings and send him/her to jail.

4) Candidate selection should not be on the basis of religion or caste.

5) Must have clean background and would be far better if he does NOT already belongs to upper class family. I believe a person who actually suffered a lot due to corruption is lower class , middle class and poor those who now came ahead with their education alone within the society . So, they would have more thrust to eradicate this corrupt GOVT AND SYSTEM.

It should be aware that a rolling to be made for selected candidate against any guilty what to be done or not. Otherwise always to be ready to answer of people questioned by them.....

If you Want to change the face of the nation by your party only way out is keep Up your words that you will include people At Every Stage

Do Remember that Anyone can become an artist and a great artist can come from anywhere may be from among an non famous group also

A lot of people now might be thinking that Team Anna has betrayed them, because for them politics is the game of dirty minds. So to gain their confidence back we should work a lot by reaching out and listening to them personally, accept the -ve criticism, and help them improve their way of thinking that you made right decision of joining politics.

To Win the majority in parliament and hearts of more people we must look into some of these below:

We can change the way our electoral systems, party, politics etc only by educating common man of the Indian political science. As long as they don't understand the basics of Polity, You cant expect them to give respect to the Vote they cast.
i.e Eg:
help them know What are responsibilities of an MLA MP,
There are a lot of people who don't even know to ask the needful from their elected Representatives.for most of them according to my knowledge think that if they get one Saree and 500 Rs that party person is good and they will really vote. They don't care for the after effect of elections. May be that's the reason why in my town we got Tar road repaired after 15 to 20 yrs now. so educate them about the process of parliament and explain to them how it will helpful for their everyday life.

The Decision to join to politics is really a good option, as being just one person without any background of politics and hailing from just middle class i have dreamt a lot of times to cleanse and renew our democracy, then why not Team Anna and all of us together should go for it then.

Rather than always inviting VIP's for standing in elections v can also Invite the volunteers from Aam Admi willing to fight elections from all the constituencies in the country, let it be a small town in any place from north east south west i.e select all young and vibrant educated out of these and form a party which is secular, make sure the members selected have secular mind too,I feel that civil servants are more apt for it. Help them in reaching out to the local people.
This will be more of people's party then,

I think all the urban people throughout the country are waiting for a new face in their respective places. so we can experiment it with providing them an educated person who has no political background yet.

I agree with Mathurji.

This is the time to get ready for the new era of political war for all of us who support team Anna and his movement. I would prefer all the likeminded people to list out the names of good clean and sincere persons from respective States/Districts /Tehsil/Mandals/Gram Sabha/Gram Panchayat.

I would request to the moderator to create a seperate link and space State wise so that people can put forward the names of known people who are active with social reformation in their respective places.

Thumbs up Method for selecting candidates and funding

Hi,
I agree with a lot of people saying that for candidate selection we must follow the Recruitment and Selection criteria adopted by the Human Resource Departments of Multi National Companies or the way we recruit and select candidates for our Forces(Army,Navy,Air force ) and Administrative Services(IAS etc.)
For funding,I think we ll be able to collect it from donations. It might sound a bit weired but if NIRMAL BABA can collect 500 Crore by donations for relieve people from their problems without doing anything than why will we not be able to collect it for doing things.

This method seems very good. One additional suggestion is that once a candidate is selected using the qualification criteria he/she should need to sign a bond declaring he/she will not get involved in any corruption and if that happens, he/she needs to put his/her everything on stake.

Ok to choose the candidate:
1. Make an announcement - Existing MP/MLA can be Welcomed if they are good and willing to change the party.( Make sure there is no allegation charge/ look at their history before taking them in our team). This will break the other party’s little strength
2. She/he Should be a prominent figure. People should know him/her.
3. May be ex-Army man, Ex Judge, NGO worker, Ex-Principal, IIT/IIM passed out, or journalist etc.
4. Basic Criteria should be the person should be at least graduate.
5. No allegation charges against him/her.
6. He /She should sign a agreement (if you do corrupted then there will be a punishment and thrown out of Team and ministry)
7. Should be an aptitude test to judge his/her political ability, Good in nature, understanding reality, corruption free attitude, ideology, knowledge about this country, policy.
8. There should be 10 member panel( different category member should be in this panel- may be a lokpal may introduce here) who will continuously closely monitor the MP/MLS's performance and attitude towards corruption and post their observation on public forum.
