The Kerala State Open School under SCERT, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admission to Plus One regular course in Science, Humanities and Commerce group for the year 2009-11.

Subject combinations available for Science group are (1) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (Fees Rs. 3185/-), (2) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science (Rs. 3385/-), (3) Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology (Rs. 3185/-).

Humanities group: (1) History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology (Rs. 1685/-), (2) History, Economics, Political Science, Statistics (Rs. 1685/-), (3) History, Economics, Political Science, Social Work (Rs. 1685/-).

Commerce group: (1) Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Computer Applications (Rs. 2285/-), (2) Business Studies, Accountancy , Economics, Mathematics (Rs. 1685/-), (3) Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Statistics (Rs. 1685/-), (4) Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Political Science (Rs. 1685/-).

Eligibility: Those who have obtained minimum D+ grade in all subjects in 10th standard or SSLC/equivalent examination and qualified for higher studies are eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit for admission.

How to apply: Application form and prospectus can be obtained from selected post offices for Rs. 100/-. Duly filled in application along with prescribed fee and copies of relevant documents should be sent to the Kerala State Open School , SCERT, Vidya Bhavan, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram-695012. Last date of receipt of completed application without late fee is 26th August 2009 and with late fee of Rs. 250/- till 5th September 2009.
