Are you in for Reservation?

Well,If there are benefits to some people there, to the detriment of another party.Upper caste is still dominated by government jobs and training,.Despite the reservations for SC / ST and other backward classes.

If any minority group is considered as poor, decrease the amount of fees that it has to pay for any exam.. which is already being done.. but why are u snatching opportunities from all other people reserving more than 30% of the seats for these groups? There are plenty of other options than reservation to promote the minority groups! When will the govt understand?

Reservation system has been brought in to ensure that the backward people are brought forward. Now it has been more than 4 decades and you dont find all upperclass people in the top management. It is the time to eradicate this practice which helps in the growth of the nation. Reservations has been used as a tool by all politicians when hunting for vote banks.

Poll seems to be flawed. Having question, "Are you in for Reservation on the basis of caste, religion or origin?"

and then alternatives are not in sync with the question asked. Alternatives provide a narrow view of looking at reservation in which only "No, I am against reservation" and "Yes, reservation is must". Alternatives, no where mention the question attributes eg Religion, caste and origin. Neither it gives scope for any 3rd dimension than plain vanilla YES and NO.

I strongly favor multiple indices based affirmative action for building up of nation and bring more social and economic equity.

We all know that this reservation thing is just to please and appease certain sections of the society in order to garner votes for elections. It is a BIG BLOT on Democracy.

Make all economically weak ,educated with free education by Govt and Society and then make them prove their worth by compete against and be Winner, Not By providing Reservation

Though I am totally against this 'reservation' mosquito biting the growth of our society.But since it can't be completely eliminated as it has very strong roots in the depths of 100 crores.So,what I feel that ,,As reservation was introduced in our constitution to help the economically weak n minority people,, so please stick to that,,do help all financially bitten but not at the cost of grades in national level IITs n PMTs and civil services , not at the cost of promotion to the less talented ,, not at the cost of age relaxation in various areas,, Make a thorough search of such minority areas/people who actually deserve this reservation ....

jinko 20 saal se reservation mil chuka hai unhe apne hisse ka reservation mil chuka hai, ab unke bachhon ko reservation kyun?? jahan tak main samajhta hun ki jinko aarakshan ka labh itne varshon se mil chuka hai ab unko aarakshan ka labh nahi milna chahiye, aur jinko aarakshan abhi tak nahi mila hai, un gareebon ko ab aarakshan milna chahiye, chahe wo jis jaati ka ho.
