Is mgrega (emplyment scheme) is useful scheme?

यूपीए सरकार. अर्थव्यवस्था की कीमत पर सब्सिडी आधारित विकास के लिए उत्सुक है. भारी मुद्रास्फीति के लिए यह भी एक कारण है. MGREGA (महात्मा गांधी ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम) जैसी योजना स्वस्थ अर्थव्यवस्था की कीमत पर है. पूरी निधि जो बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास के लिए उपयोग किया जाना चाहिए उसे सिर्फ वोटके लिए ऐसी लोकप्रिय योजनामें बर्बाद किया जाता है... इस तरह से आप लोगों को आलसी बना रहे है और उसके खुदका वजूदही मिटा रहे है और स्वयं कुछ करनेका जस्बाही खो दिया है. क्षमा करें, इसे मूलतः विकास नहीं केहते....
इस के बजाय, यदि हम MGREGA विशाल कोष का उपयोग गोदामों बांधनेमे और बिजली के बुनियादी ढांचे के निर्माणमें उपयोग करते तो खाद्यान्न समस्या के इस अपव्यय को हल कर पाते और सर्वोच्च न्यायालयको नहीं केहना पद्ताकी, "भोजन की बर्बादी के बजाय गरीबों को दे".
UPA govt. is keen for subsidy based development at the cost of economy. This is also one reason for heavy inflation. scheme like MGREGA (Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Act) is at the cost of healthy economy. Since the entire fund which should be utilized for root based infrastructure development will be diverted for such populous scheme to catch votes. By this way you make people lazy and lost their own will to do something. Sorry, this is not root base development.
Instead of this, if we would have utilized MGREGA huge fund to build warehouses and power infrastructure this wastage of food grains problem would have been solved and SC did not have to pass stricture like "instead of wastage of food, give it to poor".
