Sonia Gandhi Politics Active Again

Sonia Gandhi is trying her best to sort out the confusions and disorder created during her absence. She returned recently from the US after a surgery.

After having brokered a truce between Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Home Minister P. Chidambaram over the 2G note to the PMO, the Congress president has now turned her attention to organisational matters.

About two months after she underwent surgery, Sonia attended the party's core group meeting at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's official residence, on Friday.
