Applications are invited from qualified Indian nationals to join as Junior Trainees in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

However, FEMALE candidates can apply for Electronics & Instrumentation branch only.

NAME OF THE POST: Junior Trainee (Mechanical,Electrical,Electronics & Instrumentation,Civil)

QUALIFICATIONS: SSC with ITI/ Diploma in Engineering in the following Trades/Disciplines (60% marks in ITI/ Diploma in Engineering for Gen/OBC candidates, 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates)

AGE LIMIT: Not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 01.9.2009 i.e. born between 01.9.1984 and 01.9.1991 (both days inclusive).

VACANCIES: Three hundred and twenty nine (329) : UR – 165, OBC – 89, SC – 52, ST – 23

PAY:
a) Stipend @ Rs 3150/- per month during first 12 months and Rs.3225/- per month for next six months during 18 months of training

b) After successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Technician in S-3 grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 4170-3%-6095/- (Pay scales are under upward revision).

APPLICATION FEE :(For other than SC/ST/PWD candidates)Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only).
