Infocom Network Ltd requires Software Engineer:(Perl Web Application Development)

BASIC SKILLS:

Analytical/Problem solving aptitude.
Programming knowledge in C or C++ or Perl Language (at least one is must)
Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming oncepts and Techniques
Working Knowledge of Linux or Unix Like operating system.
Basic unix / linux commands for day to day operations.
Knowledge of HTML / JS / CSS and HTML Forms.
Knowledge of SQL Queries for Data Modification and Data Definition.

ADVANCED SKILLS:

Thorough understanding of Perl programming concepts and principles
Understanding and knowledge of popular CPAN Modules
Understanding of XML
Knowledge of HTTP protocol ( HTTP POST/GET requests , Cookies etc)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Knowledge of mod_perl / Mason Application Framework.
Experience with PostgreSQL database .
DHTML / AJAX skills

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
Candidates shall submit their resume and shall indicate the Group (SWDEV001 or SWDEV002)
in the subject line of email. Shortlisted candidates based on resume shall be classified
in 2 groups. Group SWDEV001 shall undergo an objective written examination on topics covered under "BASIC SKILLS" only. Group SWDEV002 shall undergo an objective and descriptive test on "BASIC SKILLS" as well as "ADVANCED SKILLS". Based on performance of test final interview will be held for candidates who succeed through the preliminary rounds.

Place of work : A-86 Okhla Industrial Area , Phase-1, New Delhi
Compensation : As per experience , performance in tests / interview.
