Desired:
At least 5 years of SQL experience with Teradata/Oracle/MS SQL: -
Extract data from multiple databases/tables (using complicated joins).
Create custom summaries for doing special reporting
Demonstrated experience in handling huge transactional level data from multiple databases (SV DB’s have terabytes of customer level transactions).
Building a strong business context and being able to pro-actively seek out the why/what/how of a project is paramount for success in this role.
Expected to provide recommendations to statistical modeling team members on the exact meaning of different data fields and any potential bias depending on how data gets populated etc.
Very strong competency in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Expert level in Excel VBA.
Development of robust documentation and process/data flow of overall project, SQL codes etc
Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent from a reputed organization.
Will be provided training in SAS and expected to use its SQL feature to interface with Teradata.
Having official certification from either of Terdata/Oracle/ MS
Know-how of intra/inter data consistency within/between DB and associated data sanity checks
Supported in developing SQL logic for ~ 5/6 analysts and provide innovative (and timely) solutions.
Conducted trainings on SQL for intermediate/advanced users.
Having a prior experience in a Marketing Analytics environment or supporting a Statistical Modeling team
