ADMISSIONS 2009 - 2010

Applications are invited for admission into various courses of the University during the academic year 2009 - 2010. Prescribed application forms along with prospectus can be obtained from the University in person on payment of Rs.100/- through D.D. and by post on payment of Rs. 150/- by way of DD. drawn in flavour of the Registrar from any nationalized Bank payable at Tirupati or by downloading from the University web site

The downloaded filled in applications should be submitted along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of Registrar, R.S. University, Tirupati.

The last date to receive the filled in applications is 10.06.2009 for all courses . For Kasmiri migrants, the last date for receipt of filled in applications is 20-06-2009. Reservation for SCs, STs, OBC`s etc., will be made applicable for admission into University Courses as per the existing rules of Government of India.

Regular Programmes

Under Graduate Courses: Prak-Sastri (Equivalent to +2 / Intermediate with Computers as special subject); Sastri (Equivalent to BA with Computer Applications / Science); Sastri (Equivalent to BA) Vedabhashyam ; B.Sc. (Sastri) With Computer Science & Mathematics; BA (I Elect, Sanskrit compulsory)

Post Graduate Course:

Acharya (Equivalent to MA) in 14 shastras i.e. Sahitya / Vyakarana / Jyotisha (Phalita, Sidhanta) / Nyaya / Mimamsa / Advaita Vedanta / Visishtadavaita Vedanta / Dvaita Vedanta / Vedabhashyam / Agama / Sankhya Yoga / Dharamshastra / Puranetihasa; MA in Sanskrit (Sabdabodha systems & Language Technology)

PG Diploma in Yoga Therapy and stress Management: - 1 & ½ years – Eligibility: any graduate with second class.

Research Programmes

M.Phil in 10 Shashtras ; Vidyavaridhi (Doctor of Philosophy) regular / Part Time in all Sastras: Vidyavachaspati (D. Lit.) in all Sastras.

Evening & Part Time Programmes

PG Diploma in Yoga Vijnan - One year, Natural Language Processing - Two year, Web Technology - one year ;

Diploma in Temple Culture, Pourohitya, Sanskrit & Law, Management with Oriental Orientation

Certificate Course: Temple Culture, Pourohitya, Functional English – 6 Months; Jyotisha – 6 months ; Career Oriented Programmes
