ADMISSIONS 2010-2012 [Craftsmen Training Scheme]

Applications are invited for admissions* to the Model Industrial Training Institute, Haldwani for the session commencing from September, 2010 in the Mechanical Group of trades under re - structured pattern of Craftsmen Training Scheme.
The training under this pattern is organised on Broad Based Multi Skill pattern in Eight minor trades during the First year followed by Modular Training during the second year.
Qualification : Matriculation, with Science (Physics - Chemistry) & Mathematics from a recognized Board.

Age : Between 14 to 40 years as on 01.09.2010.

Tuition Fee : Rs. 100/- P.M. No tuition fee is Charged from SC / ST / PH candidates.

Stipend / Scholarship : Stipend Rs. 100/- P.M. is awarded on merit - cum - means basis to 25% of trainees. 4% trainees are paid merit scholarship. @Rs. 125/- P.M.

Mode of Selection : Selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in matriculation examination.

Reservation : Seats are reserved for SC / ST / PH as per rules.

MITI Application Form can be obtained by sending Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft for Rs. 25/- along with a self addressed envelop affixed Rs. 5/- postage stamp thereon or by payment of Rs. 25/- in cash at the institute.

Completed MITI Application Form along with Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- towards registration fee may be sent to the following addresses upto 19th July, 2010.
