Anna hazare's movement against corruption is satyagraha founded on sacred principle of ahimsa (non violence). If we are to claim as his followers or part of his great movement that is sweeping the entire nation today, we have to totally give up violence by all means viz; thought, word or deed. Negative criticism hurts. It is violence by words. Let us refrain ourselves from airing personal criticism against any one. When some one ignorantly criticizes and hurts you, please take it in your stride and see it positively if there is anything that is useful in it for you and thank him for giving you the opportunity to learn some thing new, not with any sarcasm but with genuine appreciation. Please do not feel critical of the one who criticizes you, even when the criticism is totally unjustified. Because you can never make a negative man positive by any amount of your negative thoughts/words/deeds. If at all you bring about any positive change in the other man, it would be only by your positive action either thought or word or deed. therefore I appeal to all of you never to hurt or insult others and never to feel hurt and retort with negative actions. Anna's satyagraha is not directed against any political party nor individuals but against the corruption that is polluting our minds and weakening our rightful behavior. Satyagraha is a positive force to unite all to summon up courage to drive away the delusion. The aim and objective of our movement is to win everybody over to our side. Enactment of proper laws and installation of systems such as Jan Lok Pal are intended to prevent weak minds from succumbing to foul temptations.
This is not intended for any particular individual sighting any one incident or other, but to curb unhealthy trends in general as a positive suggestion for all.
