Dear summit,
u r criticising everyone and talking like media or congress person. Friend, go to villages of Gujrat and see what he has done.
1) All girls are going to schools
2) sarpanch of all villages are in touch with Modi by net.
3) files of any small businessmen is also not stopped by any govt. staff for weight( money)
4) no dangas because everyone has job,
5) average income of muslims are higher than average muslims of other states.
6) Woman can walk freel on road even at midnight which is not possible in many states.
7) average GDP of state is higher than other states
8) average farm production is higher due to Narmada dam.

I think u can not overlook above points. Like a strong and focussed company owner N. Modi has worked more than speak. He is a man of action.
Even I was crticising based on medias words but my stay at Gujarat for nearly month opened my eyes. what we are seeing on channels and news papers are "bakwas". Even ask muslims, they have agreed Modi has changed life positively.

I know u will write even aginst this like manu singhvi/ congress spokesperson but my again request to u is that go to the site and see.

No My Dear Ashman,

You've got me wrong.

'I know u will write even aginst this like manu singhvi/ congress spokesperson...' - No, my dear friend. I don't favour any Political Party. I'm against the Congress too. There's no way I can be with them, after I've seen what they've tried to do to Anna Hazare, and his movement. Our Movement.

Numerous times in this forum I've said this - speak with logic and the true spirit of debate, and I'll certainly listen to you - but try to go into hyperbole - with words like 'Avtaar of Vishnu and Krishna' - and I'll protest.

You feel I've taken Strong Exception to the words 'Avtaar of Vishnu and Krishna' ? You're right - I have. For I feel we could well do without those words attempting to spread superstition in and around the Forums.

I've nothing Personal against Mr. Narendra Modi, but I stress again - speak with logic and the true spirit of debate, and I'll certainly listen to you - go into hyperbole - and I'll speak out.

I keep in sight a lot of Historical and Political Time-Frame and Context before I go with anyone on any issue, and this counts even more when I consider something as important as National Elections. Because National Elections, don't figure in just Gujarat, but the Entire Nation.

I've often said in this Forum, that even Laloo Prasad Yadav had taken the loss-drowned National Asset of the Railways and turned it into a Profitable Institution, for which the top brass of Harvard came running to know about. So, if we start taking everything so easily on Face Value, shouldn't we be Projecting him as our Next Prime Ministerial Candidate ? You may, I won't.

I've seen a lot about these Politicians, hence I simply refuse to throw in my lot with them so easily, whether it's Narendra Modi, or Laloo Prasad Yadav, or whoever else, from whatever Party.

I'll certainly like to know about the good things that Mr. Modi has done, but that as I said, has to be presented in a logical and structured manner - not sloganeering, like 'Avataar of Vishnu and Krishna'. We're humans, let us stay humans.

For an example, I'll point our your post. It is small, doesn't have a lot of data backing up, but even then the points are arranged logically and sequentially, enumerating exactly what we need to know, giving out material information that provides a good basis for further discussions. Corroborate it with more evidence, provide more information, whether direct or in the form of links to other websites, and you've put forward a good article.

Lets do more of that, and not speculate whether Mr. Modi is some Great Avataar, arrived from heaven, or delve into airy Political Astrology.

For we need to remember, Mr. Modi may have done great things for Gujarat, but when it comes to the question of choosing a Prime Minister, it no longer only Gujarat, but the entire Nation. And when it comes to such a big stage, the sentiments of all parts of the country should be taken into account, and none should try to dictate. Be logical, and hold up the true spirit of debate, and we can have a good discussion.

Hope that helps you understand me better.

Thanks,

Summit.
