Effective Anti Corruption Law is the Dire Need of India

It is NOT correct to say that anti-corruption movement has become a fad or fashion.

Today, corruption is a 'Cradle to the Grave' reality in India. In fact, it starts even before the cradle stage. When a lady is admitted for child-birth one often has to bribe sundry minions and others at the hospital to ensure proper care is given Thereafter, at every stage in the life of the child, from kindergarten admission to college to employment, corruption is the norm.

Kapil Sibal says that if a person wants hospital admission he has to speak to a politician and Lok Pal will not help! How absurd! This really shows the disconnect in the minds of our so called political leaders most of whom are corrupt and rotten to the core. Kapil Saab, if corruption is eliminated, the common man will not need a politician's dirty influence and favor to secure admission in an hospital. The rules when these are implemented without fear or favor will ensure that the system takes care of citizens' medical needs.

The bottom line is Anna Hazare has given a golden opportunity to all Indians to get rid of corruption that is endemic in India. He has no axes to grind. It is up-to us to carry the torch forward and build a better, decent India. Alternatively we could go back to deep slumber and let our politicians (all parties included as 99.5% of all politicians are CROOKS), bureaucracy and others loot and rape the country. If this happens even GOD will not be able to save India. Remember, we have politicians who did not hesitate to sell 2G spectrum and telecom licences to even Dawood Ibrahim front companies.
