Indian railway assets and market capitalisation

Indian Railway is the third largest company in the world. But it is not listed in the stock exchange and their assets are not disclosed any where.

Year on Year, Railway minister presenting the Tax free budget and producing the Expense Report. No one is asking about the Market Capitalisation of the Indian Railway Assets.

It is listed in the Stock Exchanges, every year it has to disclose their financial reports in the comparable standard.
