What India Needs - Electroral Reforms

This is common saying we need to change the system for better life envornment from time to time because with changing time requirements and living styles of people changes with time.
Over the 60years we are using same set of norms for the politicians though our life stles has gone under numerous alterations. Politics which was means of social service in the past is shaping up as the profession and M.P. or M.L.A are becoming liable foor the penssion like other government servents. I feel there must be change in the process of eligibilties of being M.P. or M.L.A.
I will post points in this one by one for the comfort of discussion and adequate time for consideration by all those who wish think of India and like to part of this online discuusion. A few points might sounds similar to recent practice adopted.
1. Educational Qualification: Candidate for M.P. / M.L.A must be atleast Graduate.
2. Age Limit: No person over the age of 70 years should be allowed to be a candidate of M.P. or M.L.A. [This is common practice in government that when a person attains age of 60years, become non capable of handling or conducts duties of his office, how can we are assuming that person of same age group will be able to handle and work effeciently at office of M.P. or M.L.A.]
3. Every elected M.P. / M.L.A must have website of own which is not maintained by the government and should have regular updates for the activities of M.P. / M.L.A.
4. List of properties, assets and loans be published on this website in the tabular format and yearwise, so people looking at table can read the economic growth of M.P. / M.L.A.
5.Any person against whom a court case is pending and presently is in Jail will not be allowed to be a candidate of M.P. / M.L.A.

----- More to come .......

6. M.P. / M.L.A. should not be allowed to be active part of busiiness / commercial establishment during the peroid of being M.P. / M.L.A. even ex M.P./M.L.A involved in business should not be entitled for the penssion & other benefits.
7.No citizen should be allowed to be candidate of M.P. / M.L.A for more than five times.
8.Candidate willing to be M.P. / M.L.A must be voter of that constituency for more than 04 years.
9.Candidate should not be servant of Central/ State Government or Local adminstrative body at the time of filling nomination papers.
10.M.P. / M.L.A candidate must declear source of expense [at least 25% of admisible funds] occuring during the election process.
11. M.P. / M.L.A. should not be allowed to invest more than Rs. 1 Lakh in any single business establishment during whole turn over. Though previous investments will not be part of this limitations or previous investment from one to another business establishment.
12. In person holding owner / partnership become M.P. / M.L.A , will become investor for that business establishment and will be entitled only for interest on bank rates.

You are Right
Electoral reform are neccessary
Election is the chief route of Corruption
Election should be expenditure free
No money to seek party ticket
100% voting should be compulsory.
voting may be through sms, emails, election post card available from Election Office.
If Elected candidate does not do anything for the people who elect them, should have be called back and this provision should be included in Representation of People's Act
The elected candidate should, in any condition , is allowed to leave the party on which ticket he won the election, if he does so, he may be declared unfit for any election
