The Disease of Corruption Spreads-from rich to poor

Friends,

Initially people who were rich and powerful ( and not to forget CORRUPT) always had their way in any matter and they still continue to do so. So terms like "Bribing" "misuse of power" etc . could be heard in their context. On top that the failing , slow, and dragging Indian judicial system has been of not much help.
So these people belong to category No. 1 we need to fight.

Now the Dragon of Corruption is spreading its wings. The new breed to fall in this trap are the so called "poor people". These days it has become a fashion to be corrupt. They see the greedy rich, or the newly made greedy rich (thanks to corruption ) as their idol. If you tell them what they are doing is wrong, the prompt reply is :
"Aap bhashad mat dijiye. Pehle un logo ko kahiye (pointing to the greedy rich)"
(Dont preach us. First go and tell them (pointing to the greedy rich))
Now all poor people see Corruption as the quick road to become Rich. They start small ...but they are really ambitious (in the wrong domain)

Now the point is this "Category No. 2 " is going to be a bigger threat if we don't act now.
Because not only they are more in number but also because they r the most vulnerable ..

It is said "Prevention is better than cure"
So we need to identify the potential threats ..and act strategically.

Any view in this regard is welcome.

Thanks,
Aparajita

Aparajita

Power and money come hand in hand and with all this comes corruption.

its not bad to haver money and power, what is not ethically correct is the misuse of power and money; which is very common in outr country.

This misuse is for personal gains....and one way to stop this, i belive the only way to stop this is to fight against corruption and ensure that the individuals with money and power are not being benefited at the exopense of the common people.

I would strongly reckon to fight this corruption hard ansd square...Lokpal BIll serves this purpose the best.

these people should start respecting the law, a law with no loop holes, which corrupt peoples could exploit to their advantage.

Be a part of the Lokpal Bill
