Not easy to deal with politicians

Baba Ramdev who was duly forewarned of the dangers has discovered to his mortification that politicians always have axes to grind. They would not give in without a fight. Someone else trying to enter their domain must be kept at bay is their clarion call to those of their own ilk. Congress has mastered this art. They are therefore best equipped to tackle such issues as black money and corruption. How can one be allowed to challenge them on their home turf? Anna Hazare was also aware of all this. Therefore, from day one he insisted on videorecording of the entire process of negotiations. Congress did not agree, but could not take Anna for a ride. Baba Ramdev in his excessive zeal to hog the limelight to himself and maybe deservedly so overlooked this possibility when he began parleys with government representatives without letting an instrument of transparency in. The result is before all of us. You just cannot trust the congress. It has deceived in the past and it will continue to deceive in future as well. As for the present, Baba Ramdev will vouch for it. Its never easy to deal with politicians: they are past masters at it while Baba is a new entrant. There is a need to take a brief look at Laloo. When he was in power, he was all support for Baba. Hearing Baba speak about black money and corruption these days, he is unnerved for obvious reasons because people have not forgotten the fodder scam and the money trail it left behind. If what Baba has demanded is conceded, then not just he but many of his relatives could well end up with a lifer each. Therefore he supports the govt. action. Understandably so.

When a son becomes a father

When a child is taught discipline, made to sit for study or deprived of his unrealistic demands, he tends to prove his father unworthy. When he becomes a father then he realises that his perception about his father was wrong. A neutral analysis of present movement by Baba Ramdeo has to be studied sensibly. Baba has wrapped all the politicians in a single roll. He forgets that all the MPs,MLAs,MLCs,Corporators are elected by the people within the frame of democratic Indian constitution. When he accuses all the politicians, is not that he is accusing all the people who are directly responsible for electing them? He is talking of changing the current system of governance. Is not that he is suggesting to re-write the Indian constitution?
Can he dare to demand that Indian constitution must be re-written?
Let us go back to the era of BJP-led NDA government. The issue of corruption was primarily raised by BJP which was coincidentally preceded by Ram Mandir issue. They ruled for 5 years successfully. What went wrong with them in next general elections that they were thrown out of power?
They were defeated by the same people with whom Baba Ramdeo dreams of forming a government at centre. The million dollar question is- Can Baba Ramdeo run this country with such unpredictable Indian population and outdated constitution of India?

People should understand how cunning these political crooks are, and i think we need better way to treat these criminals. than peace full ways. rulers have very thick skin. when all moral ways hijacked it may be time to filter strategy.
everything is fine in battle and love. better to face these crooks in violent way. than current.

Well, it is not so easy. The way they have started to handle the things recently shows they are ready to go to any extent to save them selves. So don't get scared if you wake up tomorrow and find yourself to be kidnapped and taken to isolated place to gag you.

I am afraid that they may act crueler than China/ talibans to gag citizens form protesting against them.

Mr. Kapil sibal is out to threat openly saying in front of media that "If they can reach then can REIN also" ... Man has he lost mind that if we citizens can "Vote them to power, we can fight them and bring them down also".

It open now, Italian mafia is running the show in our country. Anybody can beat up any common man who raises the voice against Italian Mamji and her chamchas at mid of the night and it'll be justified shamelessly.

Country, constitution without people a big zero

When a child is taught discipline, made to sit for study or deprived of his unrealistic demands, he tends to prove his father unworthy. When he becomes a father then he realises that his perception about his father was wrong. A neutral analysis of present movement by Baba Ramdeo has to be studied sensibly. With due deference to the observations made by Vinayji the Senior Member, I have to submit as under:
First, country and its constitution is for the people. If people are withdrawn, country or constitution would be a big zero. A constitution is compiled with people at the centre. While not being on the same plane with Baba, it can be safely said that he never treated all politicians alike. on the contrary, he showed enough leniency towards very many politicians. For instance, he had all good words for the prime minister who I believe deserves no respect at all for the mess he has shoved the country into. Second, there is absolute need for changing of governance and no one can be faulted for demanding one. Third, one should always dare to seek change in constitution. A constitution that has been altered more than 100 times and is being trampled upon day in and day out by those in the government, by those elected representatives of people must be changed. Fourth, to say that simply because some people are elected by the people, they become entitled to plunder and bleed the nation as they are doing today is blatantly wrong. If our performances can be reviewed midway, why not the performance of the government and of the MPs & MLAs? Don't you see how this government comes out with its self-patting progress report every year? Fifth, I strongly believe there is an urgent need for changing the constitution. The two things that are primarily responsible for the sorry state of affairs in our country are: one, the constitution of India that promises so much with 400 and odd articles and two, the politician/bureaucracy combine that delivers so little. There is need for drastic change in these two areas if we have to improve as a nation. Sixth, please shed this tendency of revisiting NDA and BJP for everything. Certainly, there were shortcomings in their mode of governance which is why they lost the election. Now UPA is in power. Therefore, we are within our rights to demand performance from UPA and not harp back on NDA for every mess UPA has created. And last, but not the least as the cliche goes, the only constant is change. What is happening in India is a huge churning process. Instead of trying to stop the change and this churning process, let us all be part of it and celebrate the change. After all what this change is demanding is a better life for the teeming millions of our country who have long been deprived of the fruits of independence. Do you have any objection to that, Vinayji?
