Marriage is always more of a personal decision. Marriage also happens to be the occassion for fierce caste-based emotions. If you believe in ending caste-based discrimination, you can really set a good example by adopting the same in your own personal life. However, we should NOT misuse marriage for purposes of idealogy. It should be about companionship. We are used to the kings settling disputes through matrimony. That’s a different age. Different style of negotiation. One little advice. Don’t waste time trying to convince people. People don’t change their beliefs in caste and religion that easily. They need life changing experiences for that !!! One can’t wait till then. If you think u have found the right person, u should go by your heart and disregard conventional wisdom.
