It will be completely suicidal for the movement to enter the political arena now. If the demands on Lokpal and other bills are cleared, it doesn't matter who rules afterwards. This stand will prevent the movement from being labelled pro-Congress or pro-BJP, and will strengthen it.

Jumping into the electoral fray now will be suicidal as it will only fritter away energies and kill the focus -- something that the politicians want.
