1. Electricity Supply : In Sunabeda, the main problem raised in this last 2-3 years has been the power supply. Its not in Sunabeda-2 or Sunabeda-3. The problem is in Sunabeda-1. In the night time power is cut-off atleast 8-10 times, and on the name of repairing they cut off the supply every Sunday for a minimum of 8 hours in the day. There had been a lot of complains but no one is doing any thing and as usual the poor civilians are the sufferers. The scenario is worst than a village, though everything else is very well developed. Its a well developed and well-populated town. Before 3-4 years, power cut-off was very rare (may be once in a week or two for some minutes). But its now worse. And the worst are we, the students who cannot read properly nor do any thing and its only in one area of the town.
From resources, we got information that a few times fund has been alerted for new transformer, but the govt Officials here have taken those funds to there own pocket and they always do a few repairing to the old one and continue with it. Once that old 1 got fully burnt, and again fund came for a new one. But they brought 1 old malfunctioned tranformer from a neighboring town and repaired and made use of it and the suffering continues till date.
