HAZARE SUPPORT PROGRAMME IN AIZAWL

Aizawl 8 April, 2011: Peoples Right to Information and Development
Implementing Society of Mizoram PRISM), in collaboration with our
sister organizations viz. Society for Social Action (SOSA) and
Federation of Mizoram Trade Union (FOMTU) organized a programme to
support Anna Hazare’s campaign today at FW Savidge Hall, Upper Khatla,
Aizawl, Mizoram.

There are one ex-Minister, 3 IAS (Rtd.) persons, 2 other Central
Service pensioner, 7 NGO leaders and other prominent citizens amongst
the 34 participants.

The meeting resolved Resolution that ‘We, Peoples Right to
Information and Development Implementing Society of Mizoram (PRISM),
Society for Social Action (SOSA) and Federation of Mizoram Trade Union
(FOMTU), and the participants of this programme fully support the
citizen fight against corruption and Anna Hazare’s fast’

The meeting also resolved to send memorandum to the President and
Prime Minister and the State’s Governor, Chief Minister and Chief
Vigilance Officer.
