Angry Why no Quarterly Progress report on all Govt Project

When we purchase share of any company, we go into depth about the company, we go into details of its quarterly and anual results, we check the credebility of the company, we also enquire about the future plans of the company and the time frame in which they will be completed and what benefit they will reap tp company.

The companies also announces their quartely, and annual result and explain each and every details of income and expenditure of company, the management also come and explain if there is delay in any project, or any loss occured to company.

Why our govt does not do the same, to whoom we are paying taxes, why no quarterly report on the progress of works to which fund has been granted in the budget are announced.why there is no quarterly budget review, if companies/firms all over the world can do it, why cant our govt do it, which shall help in ensuring that the public money alloted is being spent in right direction and judiciously, even there should be system that fund for any scheme shall be alloted on quarterly/phases basis and next phase shall be only allotted after firsht phase is complete and it has been audited an found correct in allthe respect, which shall help in early detection of scams. why the target with time frame is not given for any scheme during fund allotment only. Why persons responsible (MDs) for correct and timely implementation of any scheme are announced during fund allotment and why there is no procedure for penlties for delay in govt project.

there should be some bill under which " Govt shall publish quarterly review on progress and expenditure on all govt project, reason for delay if any, action taken for remedies and action against person responsible for delay."
