Unhappy Pensioner's plight in rajasthan

The Rajasthan Govt has given facility for medical treatment to its pensioners for getting treatment in recognised private hospitals and partial reimbursement of the bills therof as per package announced in govt notifications. In practice, however the officials/officers of the district treasury cause inordniate delays and do not make payment even six months after submission of bills. There are no replies or acknowledgement and puts the old and infirms in great difficulty. However practically speaking , this practice of inordinate delay is an invitation for the suffering individuals to grease the palms of the concerned officials/officers. The disposal should be time bound and the officers should be considerate. However, none in the concerned departments are interested as they are part of the illegal beneficiaries . This medical reimbursement is not a charity but a right of the individual pensioner to get releif which the government has provided . If those concerned in the government are really keen to correct corruption in their ranks they should punish the official/officer responsible for the inordinate delay.
