Post Anna should not fight election

Argument is made that anna and his team should fight election and get elected. Politics is so dirty that good and honest person become dishonest. Since it requires ampoule of money and after spending it from own pocket one will thing how I will recover this. If it’s not from pocket and sponsored by someone, elected person come under their influence make necessary favor out of law or change law accordingly. SYSTEM HAS TO BE CHANGE AND THAT FIGHT CAN BE FOUGHT SUCCESSFULLY REMAINING OUTSIDE FROM PARLIAMENT.

Thumbs down Improved character can bring in improved system

the system has to be changed first ..... only then the outcome will be positive ..
Friends,
System is nothing but an aggregate of our own selves. If we change for better, system will change because we'll be the driving force. As Anna has said it is not enough to adorn Anna Topi. We must clean our inner selves and work selflessly and honestly to serve the society we live in. If we buy a piece of land measuring 1000 sq. ft. we should build our house within 900 sq.ft. and leave aside 100 sq.ft. for contributing to roads etc. But what we generally do is that we try to build our house in 1200 sq.ft. by encroaching on others' land. This is corruption and breeds more corruption because it shows our greed to gormandize what does not belong to us. If we change this attitude, systems will change and things will improve on their own. The society will become livable. Then Anna will have won the war. Are we ready for this?

I think Anna Hazare should fight on politics....., most of them says system should change, how does it change??? we should change first, the politicians are elected by us, politicians are only some % of population, we the people are majority population, so we should all try to improve the political system in India.

system is to be change means mainly election process. money reqd to fight election is root of corruption and this evil was started by indira... before that things was much better comparatively... in my view following to be done to fight corruption.
1. Budgetary provision for elected and second rank candidates. National Political parties should be provided election money according to their winning candidate from central budget. Similarly state elections from the state budget and parties must have to provide their spent account to get such fund. CAG should audit this fund. This is one way in the long term we can counter corruption.
2. Business house donation to political parties should be banned strictly. Put heavy penalty to both the parties if they give/take.
3. Simplification in all the laws like Income Tax, Vat, Excise, Custom. Only one tax in the form of GST as alternative to all the taxes is good move and should be made much simpler. Make simple law, which common man can understand, so no question of breaking the laws.
3. Strong and independent Lokpal bill must be framed which should made accountable to all including PM, President, CJI, MP, secretaries, and even election commissioner. Since all are Indian citizen first and so they are holding the post. So, all should be accountable. All other agencies like CBI, CVC, can be merged in Lokpal to make it more strong, powerful and independent. This will have parallel check on govt.

Anna should not fight elections but other members shoul fight elections bcoz it is necessary to go into the system to clean the system..if u want to change d political system then u can do it in by entering d system and gaining power.
But anna ji should kept neutral..there must be some persons outside the system and some inside the system to make this political system change practically

Cool To fight election or to not fight election

This discussion shows there is a churning process already going on. There are people who think the members of civil society who created history of sorts by forcing the government to include their points in Lokpal bill should fight elections so that they can readily contribute to improving the system. And there are people who think otherwise. In either case, it is certain that thinking minds are at work which is a good augury. The present set of politicians have lost credibility and it would be a herculean task for these people to have their credibility back. But for those who are part of the civil society, it should be comparatively easy to make a clean beginning. Though there are elements of risk, yet it is worth giving a try. But whether or not they will actually contest the election should be left to their own choice. If serving people is the credo, this service can be provided from anywhere and not necessarily from within the parliament itself. For, don't they say "they also serve who only stand and wait"?
