i believe that in india still today people r not using eftpos for payment.what is the reason ? what action should taken ?

i personally think that evry indian go through eftpos payment here is the benefit.

low risk like roberry, safe for human, proof of purchase, even in future some problem releted to warrnty and u have not ur purchase invoice handy.

control the generate black money
more incometax and some other revenue for government

as a businessmen less work for maintain accounting, banking (deposit the cash into bank account , there is lots of crime happened in india)

no frouad, cheating will place in transcation

as per recent survey only in gujarat , the profession like doctor and hospital and clinie and lab (a jaint turnover ) 85% people not pay incometax.
here is simple example
a busy lab per day patient visit 60. average any report start minimum 200 rs. to 2000 , means per patient minimum they get revenue 400 approx.( in reallity this figure more than 400)
60*400= 24000 perday*30 days7,20,000* 12 months 86 lakhs
what u think they pay incometax ? (DUE TO CASH PAYMENT THEY NOT SHOWN ALL INCOME TO INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT)

BUT IF WE START PAYING THROUGH EFTPOS , USING OUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS THAN I M SURE THIS FIGURE AND SENARIO DEFINATELY CHANGE.

U CAN USING SAME IN OTHER AREA LIKE HOTEL, ENTERTIENMENT, PURCHASE TV.FRIDGE, SCOOTER, CAR, PURCHASE EVERYDAY THINGS GROCERIES, TRAVEL TICKET AND LIST GOING ON AND ON......


AS PER MY BELIEVE THERE IS NO AWARNESS IN INDIAN PEOPLE FOR USING PLASTIC CARDS, SPECIALLY WHEN OUR YOUNG STAR START THE USING PLASTIC CARDS THAN EVERY THING WILL BE CHANGE.
LOTS OF AWERNESS AND CAMPAION NEEDS FOR THIS
AS PER BANK SHOULD CHARGING LOW RATE FOR EFTPOS CHARGE SO THAT EVERY WHERE U GET OPTION A PAYMENT BY EFTPOS.

Every transaction should be an electronic transaction which would reduce the black money. Like govt is encouraging set top box for Cable Television. Govt should make electronic transaction a mandatory. Only issue would be with the illiterate who may be cheated at POS. The people should be educated on how to use EFTPOS and about the money.
