In India the word 'Politics' has developed a bad connotation. This off course being due to the corruption we associate with political activities. So close has become this association that perhaps many think the two are inseparable.
This doesn't have to be the case, and it is up to you, Team Anna, to redefine politics.

As you go about plotting the course for the journey that lies ahead, my hope is that you do not forget the core values and essence of this movement.
The recent fasting was completely ignored by the government. You have tried to engage the government and it has not worked, but that's ok, because I believe this movement was never about what the government has to say - it is about the people ! Engage the people, they are our strength. Always remember the people.
I think the time is ripe to create a new kind of politics. A kind of politics where the people of the country play an active participatory role. You don't need to sit in parliament to partake in politics, this movement is about inspiring people to take action and you will have to come up with new ways to do that.

Perhaps now is a time to gather support. Why not consider starting an 'anti-corruption foundation' to fund your various activities. I think there are plenty of individuals frustrated by corruption who would gladly donate money and other resources to the foundation. The resources can then be used for any political campaigning that Team Anna needs to do, as well as organizing rallies and whatever else to keep the momentum up for this movement. The foundation can also organize campaigns to teach goodwill to people and children in the more remote areas of India, or a "say no to corruption" campaign like the one that happened last year - but this time the funds will allow you to give it more force; put up banners and posters everywhere '"Say no to corruption". Let people be reminded all the time.

Here's another thought; there are trade Unions that take care of the interests of employees. Why can't there be an anti-corruption Union to help give support to those honest people who are affected in a negative way by corruption. 'Whistle blowers' need some kind of support system, so that when they spot corruption in the workplace or wherever else, then they are not alone in the fight against it.

These are just some of the things that I think should be done. The movement has got to a stage where it now needs more 'structure'. Create foundations, and Unions and get people involved in a more organized manner.
