Why we should do it-
the only way something substantial can be done seems to be through paliament and the self-serving "gentlemen" now occupying the parliament cannot be relied on to keep the country's interest above theirs.

Team Anna joining politics would only serve to divide opposition votes of this govt which HAS to be thrown out. The duty of a citizen in a democracy is to choose the lesser evil. Anna's team should focus single-mindedly for an independent investigation agency and nothing else. Have great respect for their selfless zeal and patriotism

Should have a unanimous leader & a spokesperson is must

I would like TA to join politics but the biggest challenge with them is there is no unanimous leader it seems.

I would suggest them not to give there valuable comments on each and every issue as, when they open there mouth everyone will have a different opinion which is fair but the Media will project it as a conflict within the team. So I would suggest they should have some dedicated spokesperson and he should take the view of all the core members before letting others know about it.

Thumbs up Think hard..waited for one year dont take decisions in a flash

I can understand this political class is not responding to people cause but i will like to point few things:
1.who are the people responding to this movement i guess its middle class...do they vote???
2.Find out who are the people who actually vote?
3.Do they know what is lokpal.
4.I am from a small town and i know i bottle of desi daru and 100 rupees can earn vote because for them its a big thing. How will you tackle this?
5.people in big cities can respond on your call as they have access to net and TV what about the actual voters.
6.i am not against team anna coming into politics thats the right way but my only suggestion is you have lots of time before 2014 elections .if you really want to put an impact reach the people in villages in this one year.
7.guide the people what will be there stake out of it how they are going to be benefited specially the people in villages.
8.I know you are big people but first be united among yourself, keep your egos aside.
9.find right people.
10.core team should be made up of people with same ideas.

Thumbs up Yes - Team Anna should enter Politics and cleanse the system

[quote=mittul _thakkar;21432]Dear frns.,

wht abt ur openion? should team anna jump into politics?

If yes., then why?

When political class is least bothered in cleansing the corruption and they dont give the due respect for the gandhian values based on which the freedom was got from british, it is high time real patriots like anna and his team enter politics and help the country prosper and throw the corrupt and selfish people behind bars.

What is more important is awareness of the electorates, as more than 50% people do not vote in most elections, and this data doesn't even include those who don't have a voter card! It is necessary that the Team Anna should urge the elites to show some interest in election process, and come out to vote!! It is a common belief in the minds of people that Indian politics is based on caste and all other rubbish things, but we shouldn't forget that what matters most to the people of any descent is their prosperity first. It's just that people don't have a choice to elect someone who can serve as an ideal leader, hence, the elites don't vote while poor go out for cash for vote thing, which has been viewed as "caste politics" now and then!!So, the team will have to show that they are the ones who'll give a choice! Moreover, you need to focus on other issues as well, because you will be a political party now....why'd the people vote for you if you are contesting elections just to get Lokpal law? you need to address the issues which matter the most to common people, keeping in mind, that corruption is not the only one!

Entering into politics is not a perfect solution to end corruption .
My opinion is as follows : -
1. Try to make the people of India aware about the real situation the country .
2. Losses of common people due to corruption .
3. Importance of voting .
4. Try to aware the people of India about the consequences of voting on the basis of cast and religion.
5. Awareness of the people from villages is very important and must .
6. Try to convince the illiterate people about the voting ,because in India the most crucial reason of every problem is illiteracy .
7. Youth activation is necessary .
