I want to see few new faces on the platform of IAC. Young and energetic persons should brought into this team and given opportunity to speak. This is a way to motivate new generation.Local faces at every place should be given opportunity otherwise this new political party will be limited to these 5-6 leaders only.

a few reasons why you should join politics

dear arvind,

if it is a gutter you can clean it from outside. but if it is sea of shit then then the only way to clean it is from inside.

our political system is no longer a gutter, it is a entire sea of shit.

you saw what happened to the lok-pal bill -- people in power will never allow such a bill to become law and even if it comes it will not have any teeth left.

most polictical parties are more intent on accusing each other rather than doing good. most cases the party that wins -- in their five years of elected time the first 3 years goes in generating scandals, 1 year goes in accusing the opposition or defending against the scandals created during the 1st 3 years and balance 1 year preparing for next elections. thus there is zero time for their actual job of doing lok-kalyan.

the current politicians are mostly a bunch of oldies who have spent 90 percent of their life-time in making corruption into a fine art by generating each and every possible law and rule to corrupt the legal system so that the common man has to pay bribe or else he loses time.

Rules and regulations are made in such a way to complicate the common man's life so much that he is forced to pay a bribe. a simple thing is the RTO fine collection method in mumbai. If the police officer catches you, takes your license. i say that i am willing to pay the actual fine in a honest manner. he says ok go to the RTO office which is 40 kms away after 2 days, pay the fine there and then collect your license. Now who has time to take leave from their job and go for this matter. As on today even bus conductors collect hard cash and issue tickets electronically, why cannot the RTO do that. RTO has thus formulated a wonderful rule to propagate corruption giving one excuse or another.

the same applies to every goverment office.

thus one of the main reasons why i want you to join politics is that you will be able to simplify and hasten the legal procedure.

as per mr chidambaram only 45000 people have declared income over 1 crore -- which he says is ridiculous. yes i agree with and i can guarantee that in mumbai alone the people who earn more than 1 crore per year will be more than 10 times that figure. -- the key question is why are so many people concealing income -- because many of them feel that money which they pay as taxes is simply been eaten up politicians and not coming back to the system as infrastructure and progress and also there are many others who simply conceal income and pay off corrupt officials.

if you get elected the taxes collected will be so much that the word fiscal deficit would be erased from the dictionary of india.

there are 100s of such issues that touch the common man's life every day -- due to which we are forever singing - "hum honge kamyab ek din" -- which i am afraid we will be singing for the 1000 years given the current policitical scenario instead of singing -- HUM HO GAYE KAMYAB

i have never voted all these years because i had to choose between a devil and the deep sea all these years and i hate both of them. i am sure many such people like me are present in india. if you stand in elections millions like me will have a decent choice whom we can trust.

i dont know much of narendra modi -- but he has produced results and done a lot of good in gujarat. i hope you find some synergy with him.

it is high time we have people who have the guts to tell china and pakistan (and also show to the rest of the world) -- that INDIA believes in athithi devo bhava as long as the athithi behaves like a athithi. the moment he tries to become a "kabjedar" then india will cut of the head of the athithi -- to hell with diplomacy.

i see sincere committment in you and understand the herculean and life-endagering task you have taken up.

if you stand for elections you will win in every state that your team stands in if you have sincere committed people.

all my heartfelt good wishes are with you.

Team Anna,
there is only one way to retort these corrupt politics, by entering into this mud & cleaning it ourselves.
Present situation / time demands extraordinary measures, you have to support AAP, you have to enter into active politics.
Country needs us, Lets do it.

politics is a necessary evil. though if somebody wants to do the most he/she should enter politics but anna has done a lot from outside and i think we will have more benefits him staying out of the politics, keeping a close eye on government for any mistakes and remedies. thanx anna for lokpal bill. we hope now we wont disappoint you

I also thought that it would be better to join politics to fight corruption. I became a member of AAP. But after seeing type of people joining AAP and has become a place for those rejected politicians of other parties I think it will be better not to have power but to fight politicians who are corrupt.
