Underlying spirit of what Vikash Gupta said has to be appreciated, but there are practical and logistical difficulties which Anna and his team would find difficult to surmount. One needs enormous amount of money to fight an election. Anna does not have the backing of an organization, and if he erects one hurriedly, many bad elements would creep in and vitiate the very process. Anna has to be careful about that, for this then could lead to the same kind of problem that JPs movement brought in. Remember, Laloo, Mulayam, Nitish, Ram Bilas are the creations of JP movement. If we create more Laloos & Mulayams, it is better to remain where we are. Congress is ruled out because the party cannot grow out of the Gandhis. Although there are some good politicians in the party, the moment they stand alone, they are doomed. BJP is at the cross roads. Before the next election the party has to take a call on whether to go with Modi as the central figure. Mod has been doing a wonderful job whether one likes it or not. Despite reservations, I strongly believe Modi is the only politician right now who does not an axe to grind. He can deliver requires no proof. His capabilities are accepted all over the world. Why should we be wary of that? With Modi at the centre of the BJP, Team Anna can play a substantial role in cleansing the Augean Stable.
