PM and Judiciary should not be spared
There should be no compromise on the inclusion of the PM and the Judiciary in the JLPB. Excluding them from its purview would be a massive let down. The present PM may be considered a saint by many, but is a saint who wilfully allows scams to go unchecked right under his nose, actually fits the bill? If the giver of a bribe is considered as corrupt as the one who solicits it; can such a PM be considered to be above all corruption? Add to it his standing as an economist; does Economics advocate the pocketing of public money at free will by the members of the ruling party that rules a poor nation but always projects it as a growing one? Looking at the Judiciary, whose sole duty is to dispense justice, we find in most cases that injustice has become a commodity which can be bought or sold with money and/or muscle. The poorer the appellant; the more the injustice, no matter how just the appeal may be.
