Today corruption starts from the top and effects even a peon in a government office. If Janlok pall bill covers all the government machinery then there has to be one particular bench of competent people handling this law independently, without the interference of the government. This bench should be independent of fact if there is a government in the parliament or not. It should be working under SC.

I'm dying to earn and they are sucking are blood. Who are they to tax us on everything, even on breathing & and waste our money on waiving Rs70,000/- crores on agricultural loans. Chhattisgarh govt is giving rice @ Rs 3/kg, jayalalitha has delared t.v., mulayam did this bahenji is giving that...... But why? Do they really care for the people. No.
We are not only facing an epidemic of corruption but also of vote bank politics. Which results in making a trend of waivers, laziness, and non efectiveness. There should be a public opinion & consent in decisions like this.

I read the Jan Lokpal Bill. Well there seems to be some ambiguity in the draft. Its nowhere mentioned where the money recovered from corrupt officials, corrupt organizations etc goes to. There is one mentioned as Lokpal Fund. But, that is for directing the official's fines collected due to delays in thier works. Well, still the feel remains as to where the crores and crores of Black Money stashed, Tax evaded money and corrupt money goes to.
Thanking you. Nahusha Kulkarni |

For Center: Lokpal
What about State & district The Bill focus on corruption at the national level and ignore corruption at the State and district levels. Unless the Government constitutes Lokayuktas at the State level and ombudsmen at the district level with powers and responsibilities akin to those of the Lokpal at the national level, corruption can never be combated. |

The root of corruption lies in the selection of employees and officers. If somebody is selected through wrong means e.g. by giving bribe, will defiantly be corrupt to recover his bribe money back. So there is need to make section process as objective as possible. Every concerned department experts should make national level objective criteria for selection and the interview should be video recorded. and those who are not selected should be informed about their position and reason why they are not selected and it can also include suggestion for improving on weak areas so that the person can work on it for next time.
