Thumbs up Should Shri Anna Hajare form a Political Party ?

Dear All,

Almost every one of us,is fed up of day to day corruption. From obtaining a birth certificate to death certificate,we need to pay bribe to govt.employees.They create such situation that,we are forced to pay bribe, unwillinglly. If we refuse to pay, they put us in to unbearable inconvenience and trouble.
To curb such practices,Shri Anna Hajare has started a movement and asked the govt to pass Jan Lokpal Bill.
Now,govt has promised to pass Lokpal Bill, which will try to check the corrupt practices by Members of Parliament,Sate Assemblies and govt employees.
Even if Lok Pal Bill is passed, its implimentation and honest will of govt.to curb corrupt practices, remains doubtful.
Hence I feel that,if a political party is formed under the chairmanship of Annaji and candidates with honest, clean and respectable image are nominated, there are great chances of their election by voters. This will give absolute powers to Annaji and his honest colleagues,to take necessary steps to stop corruption.

Politics is so dirty that good and honest person become dishonest. Since it requires ampoule of money and after spending it from own pocket one will thing how I will recover this. If it’s not from pocket and sponsored by someone, elected person come under their influence make necessary favor out of law or change law accordingly. SYSTEM HAS TO BE CHANGE AND THAT FIGHT CAN BE FOUGHT SUCCESSFULLY REMAINING OUTSIDE FROM PARLIAMENT.

Aliens,

I think I'm saying the same thing as you are -

Anna should not fight election, HIS SUPPORTERS SHOULD.

I say again - NOT Anna, BUT his Supporters.

And by his Supporters - I mean You and Me. And before you question whether I and you are positioned well enough to do that, let me elaborate that it's NOT EXACTLY you and me, but rather PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND ME, WHO SUPPORT ANNA AND THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION, AND ARE IN A POSITION TO RUN FOR ELECTIONS. For Example, Retired Supreme and High Court Judges, Ex-IAS, IPS, IFS Officers, Learned Teachers, Professors, Historians, Social Supporters and Activists and the like.

Do you now get me ?

However, by any chance, if you think that even Anna's Supporters should also not fight the elections, then please let me know why you think so. And if that Post need be long, so be it. I assure you I will read it. To change an individual, let alone a country, you have to read volumes; so or a few long posts should not be trouble much.

I do understand you "normally prefer small to point posting", but come on; you certainly can come out of your 'normal' zone once in a while, and give me a small piece of your mind with a big post. Please do. I'll love to have your views. I'll love to have the education it'll provide me.

Let the Post be just for me. I understand your concern that the forum isn't quite a place I and you can communicate privately, but then, it's open, there are no 'no-entries', and ones not interested don't have to read it. I am and I will.

Allow me to dispel your notion that I haven't gone through your thread "Anna should not fight election", and the curt argument that followed it. But Good Conclusions take Vigorous Debate to Reach, and One-liners sometimes don't Contribute enough. Therefore - imploring you for an elaborate expression of you valuable opinions.

(P.S. : I find on that thread SRI agrees with me and vinay.muteja says exactly what I do...NC-Sinha accepts both arguments but is ready to give the Elections a try...Kittups doesn't want Anna to fight Elections but he wants to build a Political Party - that's pretty similar to what I'm saying....however, I fully respect the opinions of all other members, including yours, as I feel healthy disagreements are the bane of every debate, and the pillar of democracy...please find the link to the thread here : Anna should not fight election )

I apologise that my "long thread was not at all convincing"; but I assure you that your terse rationale was. It convinced me to follow my "long" post up with explanations.

Please do allow us a broader peek into your views. I'll be looking forward to your reply.

But before that I'd also request you to go and read my post once again, for a number of other members have posted on it after you, and you might now just find something you like.

Thanks and Good Wishes,

Summit.

'Jai Bharat'

Usually I don't discuss on the matters related to POLITICS but now I think time has come for all honest and patriot people to come out from the myth that the politics is a "Dirty Game" and it could not be done without huge money.
Please bear with me for some more elaboration before concluding the same.
As we all talk about Corruption and Failure of system in the country in current scenario, we must look at:

Is politics really a dirty Game?

Yes, it is a dirty game when it is played by dirty people, with all dirty means and for all dirty benefits.

No, it can not be a dirty game when we see politicians like Acharya Chankaya, Ashok Mahan, Vikarmaditya, Shivaji Marathha, Rani Jhansi, Maa Bharati's Saput Shubash Chandra Bose, Shastriji, Jai Prakash Narayanji and hundreds of Maa Bharati's other very Honest Saput (sons & daughters).
All these personalities give a message that HONEST and really CAPABLE must come ahead to serve the people for the betterment of "SURVIVAL OF FITTEST INSTEAD SURVIVAL OF FRUADULENT" (here, I have not named Lord Rama and Krishna as I feel incapable to match any personality with them).

Should all honest people join politics?

In democracy (especially in Bharat where Brain is flowing in very physical body like water) all tom, dick and harry (may say people like me) think that we are capable of doing every job (please take it in light vein). And, this practice is quite visible in Modern India (I always stress that now we must move to Bharat Mahan) for more than six decades except some very little period exceptions.

In real life, now all Bharatiyas need a team of such people those are capable to Design a system which convert modern India of last more than 300 years having features UNSOCIAL, UNCULTURED, INHUMAN, LUSTY, MAD FOR MATERAILS, COPY-CAT OF ALL MISCHIVIOUS DOINGS, USE KNOWLEDGE FOR DESTRUCTION AND ABOVE THE ALL DEPENDS ON ALL BUNCH OF LIES (BE IT IN ANY FIELD OF LIFE), ETC.

into a place of

All WELL BEHAVED, WELL CULTURED, SENSIBLE, SATISFIED WITH GENUINE EARNINGS, NO LUST, NO BLIND RUN FOR LUXURIES, ALL WORK FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOCIETY AND ABOVE THE ALL PROVIDE AMPLE OPPORTUNITIES TO HONEST, DEDICATED AND DESERVING PEOPLE.
This place should be known as BHARAT MAHAN.

Dear all, I don’t take myself competent enough to offer any suggestion on this matter but after reading most intelligent and emotional views about the CORRUPTION, SYSTEM FAILURE and POLITICS in this modern India, I have made a small effort to write somewhat.

About Bharat Mahan, I do have some reserved sentiments that
HAMARA BHARAT SACH MAI BAHUT SUNDAR THA, HAI (Abhi kuch kharab ho gaya hai picheley 500 vashon mai) aur sunder hi RAHEGA.

“Politics is a "Dirty Game" and it could not be done without huge money"…………
Please discuss this matter in length so that every sincere person should not take it guaranteed that now nothing can be happened.

Charcha aagey zari rehni chahiye. (discussion on this topic should be continued and even respected members of Team Anna should be involved).

Jai Bharat

SUMMIT- if anna team will fight and anna not then anna will be alienated and chances of unity may broke. its better not to contest election and remain united. their key argument is right that public is owner and let them remain owner only and force sevaks to listen. by remaining outside they can force parliament to involve public also in making law making process which is need of today.

Thumbs up Should Shri Anna Hajare form a political party.?

Dear Friends,

From our experience of last 64 years,we have seen that, educated, cultured, honest and patriotic citizens stay away from politics. This has given us dishonest, illiterate, incapable and corrupt leaders. They win elections with the help of money and castism. They use people staying in slums and from lower class, to vote for them, with money power. We stay away and only keep on saying that " politics is the dirty game"!How long we can remain away from politics and allow this process to continue?
In my opinion,if you want to change the system, you should be the active part of the system.Otherwise, today's leaders will continue their corruption by possible legal loopholes and their linkage to beaurocracy.
Secondly, only law making is not sufficient, their proper implimentation is very important. We cannot expect correct implimentation of laws by the corrupt leaders. Its a very difficult task.
Hence,Shri Anna should be the President of the New Political Party and he should nominate good, educated and clean personalities as candidates. He should not himself contest the election.
Unless,Anna is involved as a President, people will not vote for this party.
Initially,we should try for Loksabha and on that experience Vidhan Sabhas of deifferent states.
Since,no money power will be used for our party,no question of its earning back or any other pressure.
Once,Govt is formed of honest people, beaurocracy will automatically change, because it cant be replaced.
Now,its a high time that,Govt of patriotic people is formed, under the leadership of Anna !.
There is no other choice.
