Rift Between Anna and Avind is good for IAC and the country!

Arun Nehru in the New Sunday Express has said that the rift will likely cause voter dissatisfaction.

Is this really the case? Let us see

First, it is doubtful if there is a rift at all!

Anna and Arvind are two very clever people. They could have decided to part ways only to fool others, especially the thieves that are politicians.

Why?

When Anna's movement gained momentum all varieties of "Mango People" sat up and took notice first and then started discussing among themselves. It was inevitable that the possibility of joining politics crop up in their conversations.

The discourses among the team Anna had but to veer towards the same direction too. It is here that it must have dawned on the team that an active political participation is to be sought to bring in Jan Lokpal.

Both Congress and BJP were bent on not bringing in the Lokpal and the only way to do it is fight the system within. However, it is just not possible for Anna to go political. It would have raised too many eyebrows and there was a danger of the movement against corruption looking like a watered-down version of its old self and losing a fair amount of sympathy.

With the wily congressmen like Digvijay Singh adept at finding fault where there is none, Anna's intent would have been 'exposed' and Anna would have been painted in the darkest of colours.

It is a brilliant move then, if in deed it took place. I mean, the move that made Arvind leave and start all over again, starting a political party.

This way, Anna still has his legacy of pure and simple anti-corruption/Lokpal intact. Arvind still has his agenda of pure and simple anti-corruption/Lokpal intact but has the additional weaponry in active politics.

So they branched out and here we are garnering the support of two large groups of people in order to fructify as one.

The supporters of IAC will vote for it when the time comes. That is a given.

Here comes the best part: Whom will the supporters of Anna who had chosen to stay put and said goodby to Arvind Kejriwal vote?
Though they did not see eye to eye with Arvind, their sense of propriety will never let them vote for Congress or BJP. Unless they have some very deep-routed grudge against IAC, they will vote for it, even by default.
IAC will be their only option, even if they do not completely sympathize with it.

It means that the members of Arvind group as well as Anna group both will support IAC.

Is there a rift?

There is, in deed, but the rift is good for Anna, Arvind, the mango people and for the country.

Your analytical ability is partly flawed and somewhat correct in statements on and off but let me tell you the day Anna or IAC is able to get a gathering like the ones political parties do i.e BJP & recently Congress or that matter Nitishji in Bihar & Mamata Didi in West Bengal or Amma in Chhenai and so on so forth then both IAC & Team Anna can feel their good work.

There is no point behaving like an anarchist partylike MNC etc., - look at the kind of supporters in the gatherings. No one or two leaders - but all leaders - mango people and just imagine what will happen when all decisions are taken by the mango people rather than the leaders. Arvind and Anna are very clever - they dont want to take responsibility as they want it to shove it on Aam Admi ( as good as not taking a decision )

Overall their brief outbursts have swelled and got punctured too soon.
