Unnecessary availing of subsidy is also corruption.
In India we are all involved directly or indirectly to boost corruption. Let us take a simple thing how we are boosting corruption. Many may be aware of the RATE OF FOOD AVAILABLE IN PARLIAMENT CANTEEN for instance what I got from inter net the price of some food is as follows- TEA=1.00 SOUP=5.50 DAAL=1.50 MEALS=2.00 CHAPATI=1.00 CHICKEN=24.50 DOSA=4.00 BIRYANI=8.00 FISH=13.00 We should think- What is the logic behind this to fix such type of rate. How many common people are accessing the Parliament canteen. The financial status of the person availing this benifit. How many BPL person approaches to Parliament canteen. When MPs are getting the salary of more than Rs 80,000/-. Than who are the beneficiary and for whom and why it is meant for. Is it not the waste of public money. Are not we the customer of Parliament canteen boosting the corruption. In my view many such type of thing is to be clean up/abolish with strong awareness among all of us for a CORRUPTION FREE INDIA. |

Movement can't be stopped now
Sritulu from Bhubaneshwar has given a very good statistics of a canteen situated at Parliament, New Delhi. Sritulu, you looks to be aware and very analytical about things going on around us.
It will also help if you join existing group or start a new one to spread awareness for Jan Lokpal Bill and the associated movement by Anna Hazare ji to people around you. One person of 72 years of age can not fight this systematically corrupt system all alone. Majority of people from all across India need to join for its success. This movement is going very strong in major cities. Delhi alone has 55,000 volunteers apart from lacs of supporters. We meet once every week at different places to plan next week's activities listed below: 1. Awareness at Schools and Colleges. 2. Meeting with RWAs of Housing Societies. 3. Protest march at local level/Prabhat Feri. 4. Visit to nearby villages to spread awareness of lokpal bill. 5. Meetings with different unions to pull them towards the movement. 6. And distribute work among the volunteers. I appeal all the readers to work in this ongoing protest. Check where these activities are going in your cities, try to attend meeting and be an activist in the anti corruption movement. For getting contact person of your cities to join Anna Hazare, please click below link http://www.indiaagainstcorruption.org/citycontacts.html JAI HIND!! |
