Extremely disappointed!

Sonia Gandhi targeting Anna is not good. I remember her telling her party members to show the same level of commitment like Annaji in fighting corruption. I have respsect for her views and thoughts. I somehow felt that she is a commited lady.
We are not opposed to CBI being out of Lokpal. We are opposed to, not having a reason to keep it out of Lokpal. You give us valid arguments and we will be more than willing to accept the decision.

Congress has openly said that Team Anna is not willing to discuss things. 6 months back, it was team Anna insisting on Video Recordings in the joint meetings. It was team Government opposing the move. Government was more eager to hide the discussions and Team Anna was more eager to let people see the discussions. Why did Congress miss this golden opportunity to prove that Team Anna does not discuss? Purposely? As it would have exposed the unwillingness of Congress to discuss issues.

Yesterday I came accross the news, Sonia Gandhi says "We will get our Lokpal and win the five states". It will be extremely sad if Congress wins.

Consider the scenario:

• We do not understand the reason Congress gives for not getting CBI in Lokpal.
• The counter-view to get CBI is justified strongly.
• Yet Congress wins the 5 states.

Will it not be sad for our democracy?
Is this not arrogance by Congress?
We people want justification for your decisions. How can you deny us this right?

"I will not include CBI in Lokpal, I will not justify it and I will win the 5 states". It will be extremely sad if Congress wins a single state. Not because I am a supporter of other partys. If it wins, it will get the confidence to do things without reasoning them. Other partys when in power will get the same confidence. Partys will say we can win, without giving up CBI control, without justifying ourselves. In such scenario, CBI will be out of the Lokpal for next 50 years. Such situation, will be extremely dangerous for our country.

Attack on Jan Lokpal (by Government)

(*) Parallel Government: Does the Jan Lokpal make laws? How will it become a parallel Government? It only has powers to punish proven criminals. Is that a parallel government?
(*) Over-Loaded: "Jan Lokpal overloaded" means "More Corruption inquires" which means "More corrupt official caught". Is this not good?
(*) Anna the Dictator: Who wanted the meetings and discussion to be telecasted live. Anna or Government? Dictators do things without listening to their people. Who is doing it now? Who is a dictator?
(*) Super Government: What aspect of Governance other than punishing the guilty, will Jan Lokpal perform?
(*) Enhance the Bill Later: Bills can be modified later. But does that mean, we should allow some illogical point to enter the bill.

I personally like the Congress party because it has a number of intellectuals who specialize in thier fields. Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Kapil Sibal, Pranab Mukherjee, Chidamabaram - This team gives you confidence which other parties cannot give.
But this confidence has began to wane out.

We need to decide - Congress Lokpal or Jan Lokpal?

Well said. Even I think the same. Congress has really some of the country's best intellectuals
and master of their trades. I find Mr. Rahul Gandhi truly promising. He is a thinker. But, the ruling party must give satisfying arguments against involvement of CBI in Jan Lokpal, and I don't have any idea why they speak of Gaddafi's rule by letting CBI in. Its childish. Well, see, what's next.

To let yo know of a few facts about Rahul Gandhi
- he is not a born Indian, his mom gave birth to him in Italy and as an Italian citizen, became Indian citizen much later.
- he is married to a Columbian girl, who is daughter of a drug lord in Eastern Europe.
- got arrested at a US airport for carrying $60,000 in cash and an unidentified substance (this has been evidenced by an Indian-US organisation at FBI office).
- his real name is Raul Vinci and his sisters name is Bianca - Priyanka.
- all his educational credentials are in this name - u can verify this at any election office where he has to put in his papers. I saw one in a paper clipping posted on internet.
- has faked his degree. he went to Harvard University (coincidentally same year Hindujas donated about 9 crores to same univeristy), but was thrown out.
- got admission in St Stephens Delhi but failed hindi (leader of UP failed Hindi)
- still holds Italian Passport

Im sure a lot of people felt the same when Rajeev married Sonia but look were it has got us and it does matter that our future leader could be a daughter of a druglord.
And if it doesnt matter to us that Rahul is telling a lie about his name and educational credentials (imagine how trustworthy this fellow is), probably they should continue the looting...we deserve it.
Having said that I also hv reservations about the credentials of Prathibha Advani, Mulayam Singh's son etc. to be good leaders.

And YES its not about Rahul but they are good examples and reminder of what corruption has done to our system and our psyche. It also helps us compare... had we been more vigilant, all this was exposed much before all this damage occurred. Lastly, it also has us thinking that what went wrong that we are ignoring good people like Subramiam Swamy and concentrating on leaders like Laloo Yadav, Mayawati, Rahul Gandhi...the list is too long

I am shocked to see people still having good opinion about these so called intellects!
Robert Vadra is supposed to be the fastest billionaire. Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are neck deep in corruption! Do you still doubt it?
Kanimozhi has shown the minutes to the supreme court which shows evidence of Manmohan Singh and Chidambaram being present in the meeting. Subramanyam Swamy is claiming of having few more evidences.
I consider Chidambaram to be Rajbala's murderer. Who is going to pay Rajbala's family for whatever they lost? Can anyone really pay?
We consider ourselves as well educated people. Assuming I am in Manmohan Singh's position what would be reason for me to continue in the office and praise Chidambaram? I suspect him to be the direct beneficiary of the chaos.
Pranab Mukherjee and Kapil Sibbal were badly exposed during Ramdev agitation as well as Anna's agitation.
These are polished goondas having very high education.
All my life I voted for congress. Now I am realizing how stupid I was to get carried away with people's personality/appearances. Now I feel Mayawati is much better option. You know what you are going to get and do not feel cheated.

Intellects in Congress!!!...lolzzz...Sonia is not even metric pass and Rahul failed to secure a degree...their only qualification is their surname which also is not their own..its borrowed.

Anyways, to let you know of a few more. There are approx 1262 videos on youtube banned by our intelligence agencies in India, out of which 1260 are about Gandhi family and their corrupt practices. Of course, Indian media does not hv the guts to make those videos, they are by foreign media but unfortunately most of you cant see it.

A work-around with this regard is that these videos are visible on facebook page, so ask ur family and friends who are staying abroad to post them on your fb profile.

Also, an exercise just type 'sukanya devi' on google and see what you get...
