The business of Politics!!!

These days some of the states are in process of electing their goverment. The election in these states are assumed as semi final for parliament elections to be held early next year. One thing that is assuming significant importance is politics have become a kind of business. Gone are Gandhian era when politics use to be for social service to the masses. Now a day winning election is a kind of business where different parties are willing to invest in order to get its benefit tomorrow. Further like other businesses there are different managers for different activities to be carried out, for example politicians are engaged in fund raising, Branding, Management of different resources etc which we use to hear only in business context. It seems days are not too far when there will be public and private limited companies for contexting elections and there will be shareholders to divide the benefits derived out of it. May be that will be the best days for Indian politics when at least the comman man can be stakeholders in the system and closely held companies or parties of today will be democratised.
