To Prevent Corruption

To prevent corruption, can't we seek the function Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) report of employees/MLAs/MPs via RTI Act ?

No conclusive evidence can be got through fMRI.This will not work like truth serrum.

fMRI has poor temporal resolution. The BOLD response peaks approximately 5 seconds after neuronal firing begins in an area. This means that it is hard to distinguish BOLD responses to different events which occur within a short time window. Careful experimental design can reduce this problem. Also, some research groups are attempting to combine fMRI signals that have relatively high spatial resolution with signals recorded with other techniques, electroencephalography (EEG) or magnetoencephalography (MEG), which have higher temporal resolution but worse spatial resolution.

Moreover RTI Act will not allow any such methods where by the suspect has to go through test conducted on him/her

in a murder case in Pune, a judge explicitly cited a scan as proof that the suspect's brain held "experiential knowledge" about the crime that only the killer could possess, sentencing her to life in prison.

As per the Indian judiciary brain mapping , truth serum are not accounted for coz still hey are not validated.For this case they have just given their account of fMRI.We need to have all these amended.For instance for a convict who had done rape he pays 5000-10000 as fine and spend 7 years rigorous imprisonment or max of 12 years where as they should executed for the crime or penalty should be increased to 25 to 50 lacs or face 150 years in Rigorous imprisonment or executed...i have just quoted a point to you.
