Central Govt. - Congress Should be made to Resign

Please ask for resignation from Central Congress government on such an unethical, unlawful move in abolishing & showing such a cruelty towards peaceful movement.

After so many scam & now such a barbaric move just to save their ministers money in Swiss account we can not tolerate such a nuisance govt. why got into discussion of baba's assets, first they should look what they have done & why these issues are being raised now - just to divert public mind which they are proficient in doing since after independence????
Why not these issues were raised earlier & researched for, now nothing doing they should resign at first & take new mandate as every single person is against them now after so many biggest ever scams & brutal activities of congress.

Do you think if the cabinet resigns it will fix the issue? You go in for polls tomorrow what you will get is the same problem but the faces will be different. If UPA resigns today and NDA comes to power results will be same. When they will be opposed they will use the government machinery against the protestors. It is not an issue with one person or its followers. It is not an issue with one government. It is a nation wide problem. They can use power & force to arrest us but they can not kill our thoughts. The thought process has started. Masses are more aware and this campaign under the leadership of people like Anna should reach its ultimate goal of Corruption free state.

If we talk about reforming the election system of India then we should not forget those 15-20 crore people who give their votes for just some liquor and money... We have to change our self and that will take care of all the systems.

In my opinion, resignation by the UPA will not solve the problem. The NDA too is equally corrupt and is waiting for its chance to loot. The present state of affairs have been there when JPs movement took place and many of the present leaders were part of that. They came in power later on but continued to follow the same track as there was so much of money in that. Otherwise how could any one explain a new entrant politician who rode cycle before election owns mansions in big cities. Can we name one politician with totally rural roots not having a mansion in big cities.
For this all the current issues on corruption by Shri Anna & Baba are very much relevant. The congress is hitting Baba below the belt to disclose the names of the donors to his organisation, though the congress party's treasurer should have done that before asking this from the Baba.

Congress Mukh patra magazine says that the matter of governance & legislation is the sole domain of the elected representatives and not of the people on the street by name of civil society. It is only correct technically and the question comes who are these elected people? Are they having some very superlative quality or intelligence or are they the only champion of the cause of the masses. They want to convey the message that for 5 years the elected people will do whatever they like without being questioned.Not that all elected people are corrupt & greedy but because they are not reigning in the corruption right in front of their eyes they become a party to it and enjoy greater power of authority due to corruption. This is where the problem starts- we know that about 33% of the MPs in the parliament have tainted records.
We observe very minutely the proceedings in the parliament on the TV and the picture that we see is not very encouraging & fails to repose our trust in them. Our children watch this indiscipline and think nothing is wrong in being indiscipline.The question for cash and voting for cash has become very common . These are the reasons why people on the street come into picture.The proposed JAN LOK PAL BILL is just a start to root out corruption and any one opposing it is branded corrupt as he opposes this and has no other effective workable ways to do it. The existing system has been in place for 63 yrs but the result is disastrous.

After the Jan Lok pal bill the next items to be covered simultaneously the electoral reforms and police reforms.
Electoral reforms needs quantum change.The state must fund the election expenses of each candidate,the affidavit about assets needs to be more explicit ( we have seen false affidavit being submitted with no punishment), All those are barred from seeking election who had a criminal case initiated against them by way of FIR 6 months before the election date.
The police act of various cities and the Indian police manual are out dated and do not conform to the Indian Constitution. The pending police reforms need to be implemented within 6 months.The public needs to know what the police can do and and what are the rights of the people.Police need professional training to sync with the democratic system. Third degree methods of interrogation must be a process of past British days, it is better to do it professionally without resorting to indecent means.

I fully agree with Sahil. This anti corruption movement is not against a particular party or person or leader.It is a civil movement taken up by all like minded people of India. The elected members ( Parliament and Assembly) will be interested in safely earning money. They will not be interested in bringing a strong and fool proof ANTI CORRUPTION BILL. We have miles to go.lot of spade work has to be done.Common man is to be educated.

I totally agree that after jan Lokpal Bill there should be political reforms and specially multi party system is making the our democracy very week.
Hon Prime Minister is saying that he can't do anything because he want to save the country from another election.

If its symbolic, its fair, the goverment has suppressed our fundamental right, the freedom to speech. and hence this goverment must go....

its ironic i am sitting and london and writing this, i wish i could be in india and work to lead that mighty country!
