Can corruption and reservation not be discussed in separate forums?

Discussion on corruption unites 120 crore Indians.
Discussion on reservation divides 120 crore Indians.
Individuality is important.
The same numeral may appear 6 to one, and appear 9 to the other.

Can we not have a separate platform for discussion on reservation?

Why make our fight against corrupion weak, ourselves.

Let our politicians, MPs/MLAs Gram-sabha/Panchayat heads be evaluated periodically say once in 6 mths for their contributions/achievements. Persistent failure should see them thrown out. A check of this type unless implemented, accountability & fear would never set-in! Absence of instant-fear, makes one sloppy by nature. 'Taken for granted' like situation & longer duration be discouraged lest some one manages/leverages, plans an effective hedging for oneself instead serving others.

Exploitation should come under an instant check this way!!

For fear of performance/deliverance, accountability would set-in instantly while public exploitation should come under an instant check this way!!
Human psyche tempts one to take the least path of resistance which under a fast changing needs of our Nationals isnt acceptable. the present system has undergo a drastic change to be compatible to day-to-day mechanics!!

Cool Who will evaluate whom?

Democracy has many facets. One of the facets is the absence of an acceptable mechanism whereby you can evaluate the performance our MPs/MLAs and other public officials. The moment you say a thing about someone, he will up and ask, "and who gives you this power to evaluate me...why should yours be the final word...what competence do you have to judge others?" and questions to that effect. That fortunately or unfortunately works in favour of the elected representatives who cease to be our representatives and become our masters. We are equally to blame for this because we easily accept them as our mentors/superiors/our feudal lords. When Laloo Yadav was the CM of Bihar, he used to call himself 'Raja' and used to treat general people as his 'praja'. We never questioned this, rather we enjoyed and laughed it away. The kind of movement that Anna launched helped us show these feudal lords a mirror so that they could see their real faces. This helped them self-evaluate their performance. Saturday debate on the parliament was an indicator. Amazingly, everybody tried to remain on the side of the people and Anna. Even when they were critical, they were sparing knowing full well that if they spoke much ill, people were watching them.
While evaluation may be left to the people, Lokpal as proposed by the civil society will go a long way in catching them on the wrong foot. That should help. One hopes.
