Delayed Voter ID Card

Hi All,

I reside in Bangalore and I have applied for Voter ID card and its more than two years since I applied. I have written mails to my Zonal Office and made several rounds in my wards BBMP office. Whenever I go to BBMP office, I get to hear some or the other excuse. Still I have not received my Voter ID card.

I saw one person receiving bribe for getting other persons work done. Earlier I also had bribed sarkari babus to get my work done in govt offices. But this time I have decided not to entertain these babus for my Voter ID. After they all are paid for their work. I don't know whether how many other people would be suffering from such system.

Any suggestions from members/senior members for any necessary action to be take against this.

Be happy without a voter card else alway will feel sorry after voting for a corrupt politician.......Wait and do something inorder to get numberic id for each and every citizen of Bharat Varsha.

You should file an RTI application for the same. There has been a study done that Filing RTI application has the same effect as bribing.. Till the lokpal bill comes into effect and it really becomes effective we should use the RTI method...
