Tata Consultancy Services at MUMBAI is currently looking for Team Members / Team Leaders / Project Leaders / Project Managers with 3-5 years of relevant IT experience. All position will be based at solutions / delivery centers at TCS Mumbai.

Skills:
IT Infrastructure Services (IT IS):

Senior System Admin (L3):
VERITAS Administrator (SUN, HP, IBM servers, and Enterprise class SAN storage and bBackup Infrastructure)
Knowledge of VERITAS Volume Manager, VERITAS Cluster ware, VERITAS net backup and other VERITAS components administration on AIX, SUN and other OS flavors, Sun OS/HP-UX/AIX System Administration, SAN/NAS, Domain systems (E10K/E15K), HP Superdome, IBM LPAR, Shell Scripting, TCP/IP
File system knowledge / disk configuration / performance monitoring and tuning, change and configuration management
Experience with Sun Clusters / Veritas Clusters / HP Clusters
Backup Management Software : Veritas Netbackup would be preferable
Experience in handling large data centers, troubleshooting system and infrastructure issues
Solaris Admin - Unix / Storage Admin (L3):
System administrator role (2-3 years of experience) : handle high end enterprise class server hardware and storage, installation and upgrade of hardware, OS and tools (build redundancy at OS and hardware level)
Experience on recent OS versions of Sun Solaris, Sun SAN and related software
Aware of change management procedures, with exposure to critical production environments based on SLA, Veritas Volume Manager, backup procedures including usage of Legato Networker, DR concepts
Close interaction with customer, DBA, DC Ops, Network, application and other members to upkeep the infrastructure services in DC, monitoring of systems to eliminate/minimize downtimes, follow escalation procedure, vendor coordination. L1 and L2 support, L3 support in consultation with vendor, maintain metrics and reports about availability, utilization and performance
Should be Sun certified
Should be willing to work in a 24*7 environment
Senior System Admin - AIX (3-6 years of experience):
Administrator for IBM AIX servers, P5 and pSeries Administration and Support for AIX 5L V5.3 : IBM AIX Administration, Enterprise class SAN Storage, and backup infrastructure
Knowledge of AIX system administration, file system / disk configuration, Logical Volume Manager, SAN Administration (IBM DS8100), backup management software (Tivoli Backup Manager), Shell Scripting, TCP/IP, Domain systems : IBM LPAR, DLPAR, VIO
Performance monitoring and tuning, change and configuration management and experience in handling large Data Center, troubleshooting System and infrastructure issues

Eligibility:

Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS / CA / ICWA / MBA PGDIT (2 years full time & approved by AICTE)

Special consideration will be given to B.Sc. / BCA / Diploma holders with 3 years of relevant functional / technical experience.

Consistent academic records Class X onwards (Minimum 50%)
Candidates interviewed by us in the last 6 months are not eligible
Candidates with more than 2 years break in their academic / professional career will not be considered
