The Institute for Plasma Research invites applications from highly motivated and result oriented candidates for the posts of :

1. SAFETY OFFICER (No. of Post 1)
   QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical Engineering with First Class.
   Diploma in Industrial Safety by Central / State Government in addition to the above referred basic qualification is MUST.
   Experience of minimum 5 years in implementing safety requirements & should be able to monitor correspond, audit & training in Heavy Industrial / Chemical / R&D Institute.
2. SCIENTIST – SC (COMPUTER) (No. of Posts 2)
   QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : The candidate should be a B.Sc. (Computer) / BCA with M.Sc. (Computer) / MCA (XII Science Stream) degree (First Class) in both + 1 year experience. The candidate should have good knowledge of Linux Systems administration and networking. He / She should possess clear understanding of IT Infrastructure maintenance related issues and have some experience of setting up and maintaining Internet servers.
3. ENGINEER (PROJECT) (MECHANICAL) (No. of Post 1)
   QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) in Mechanical Engineering (First Class) + 1 year work experience in AutoCAD drawings 2D & 3D fabrication techniques (including CNC) inspection of jobs at factory and related work. Preferable: knowledge of vacuum techniques.
4. ENGINEER (PROJECT) (RF & MICROWAVE) (No. of Post 1)
   QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialization in RF and Microwave (First Class) + 1 year work experience in design and development of microwave components, characterization and measurement techniques. Preferabale: Knowledge of of simulation software packages in RF / Microwave.
5. ENGINEER (PROJECT) (ELECTRICAL) (No. of Post 1)
   QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering (First Class) + 1 year work experience in Design and implementation of electrical (high voltage) techniques, testing of various electrical systems and cross-integration between disciplines of related engineering fields.

GENERAL INFORMATION

PAY SCALE for SAFETY OFFICER : Pay Band 3 (PB-3) Rs. 15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.6600/- (Gross Pay Rs..30192/- p.m.)
PAY SCALE for SCIENTIST - SC : Pay Band 3 (PB-3) Rs. 15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (Gross Pay Rs..28560/- p.m.)
REMUNERATION for ENGINEER (PROJECT) : Consolidated Rs.19500/- p.m.
