Troubleshooting various firewall products such as Netscreen, fortigate, Pix, FWSM, Sidewinder Firewall, Check Point Firewall and Cisco routers, L2, L3 switches and
Configuring NAT( Network Address Translation )/PAT ( Port Address Translation ) to protect private network from outside public network as well as for conservation of Public IP addresses.
Hands on experience and knowledge of implementation and management of Intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), Firewall, IPSec/GRE VPN ( Site to Site, Remote Access), and other security products.
Configuring access-lists to filter traffic based on address, time, and protocols;
Configuring object-groups to optimize access-list processing,
Configuring Network Address Translations: Nat0;
Configuring Network Address Translations:Policy NAT; Configuring java/activeX filtering; Configuring URL filtering, Verify inbound traffic restrictions;
Configuring Site to Site VPN and Client to Site VPN or Remote Access VPN;
Configuring AAA and Secure ACS Server; Configuring SYS Logs and SNMP Commuinity;
Configuring AAA ( Authentication, Authorization and Accounting ) using TACACS+ or RADIUS Server; Configuring Traffic Filters using Standard and Extended Access- Lists;
knowledge on OSI Layer Model , TCP/ IP protocol Suite like ( ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, IP,Telnet etc);
Certification Prefered: CCSA, CCSP, JNCIS , CCIE – Security
