Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science (HITS) under the Hindustan University, No 40, GST Road, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai - 600016 has invited applications for the HITS Entrance Examination (HITSEE) for admissions to various Academic Programmes for 2009.*

The Courses offered include the following:

Bachelor of Engineering Degree Courses: Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering; B.Tech Degree Courses in Information Technology and Polymer Technology and B. Arch.

Applicant for BE/B.Tech courses should have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those appearing in the 10+2 examination of March/April are also eligible to apply.

Post Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA)-Aviation Management/ International Business, Master of Computer Application (MCA)

Master of Engineering Degree Courses (M.E): Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Applied Electronics, Construction Engineering Management, Computer Science & Engineering, Communication Systems, Environmental Science, Internal Combustion Engineering, Power Electronics & Drives, Structural Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Ph.D / M.S ( By Research) : Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, All Science & Humanities Subjects.
