![]() Marriage is always more of a personal decision. Marriage also happens to be the occassion for fierce caste-based emotions. Disregarding the message about hijacking brahmin women in the below post, main point is really about breaking caste barriers. If you believe in ending caste-based discrimination, you can really set a good example by adopting the same in your own personal life. However, we should NOT misuse marriage for purposes of idealogy. Most important thing about a real marriage is that it is about relationships between two people. It should be about companionship. We are used to the kings settling disputes through matrimony. That’s a different age. Different style of negotiation. Even there, most kings also had the one they loved more than others, beyond the dictates of politics. In this current age of individualism, we should look at marriage mainly for sharing our life’s journey. Anything else, would not really work. To think beyond the limitations of caste and to broaden our perspective, we should definitely consider intercaste marriage. At any rate, you will have a good sparring partner who will look at things differently because of the different background, culture, values and tastes. It is guaranteed to be more lively One little advice. Don’t waste time trying to convince people. People don’t change their beliefs in caste and religion that easily. They need life changing experiences for that !!! One can’t wait till then. If you think u have found the right person, u should go by your heart and disregard conventional wisdom. |

Many Dalit intellectuals have burnt a lot of midnight oil trying to analyze why our saviour Babasaheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar married Mai Savitha Ambedkar, a chitpavan brahmin from Maharashtra. Did Babasaheb fall a prey to the Brahmin conspiracy. Many of my dalit brothers and writers in Maharashtra hint that there is a conspiracy from the brahmins. Some of the upper caste people laugh at this. Some of their twice born intellectuals even claim that Babasaheb wanted a trophy Brahmin wife. How true are all these. Why have we dalits come to such a stage that we are even questioning our leader. Do these people think that they are more intelligent than Babasaheb, the most revolutionary leader since Gautama Buddha.
Babsaheb can never be wrong. There is a message in each and every action of his life. Babasaheb by Marrying the doctor brahmin Mai Ambedkar has shown us that even women in Brahmin community is oppressed and the only way they can be saved is to get them out of their jati. Brahmin women are also Dalits in a way. Brahmin women are the biggest victim of Brahmin conspiracy. Manu treats women like filth, even brahmin woman. Out dalit women are much more free than the brahmins. They dont become untouchable during menstruation. They work in the fields and they cook. If you want to finish the brahmins then marry the Brahmin women. Dalits should marry Brahmin women and take them out of their varna. Then Brahmins the micro minority 3 percent population of india will have no women left to marry and breed. They will die a natural death and become extinct. Look at the genius of Ambedkar. Without understanding Ambedkar’s genius all these so called Dalit intellectuals are making all kinds of noise and falling prey to manuwadi agendas. Remmber manuwadis beleive what they want to believe and they make you believe what they want you to believe. |

The messiah of dalits Ambdekar married a GSB lady. the new messiah Ramvilas paswan second wife is a bobcutt, sleeveless upper cast lady( his poor first wife lives in a mud house in her native village, of course he married her when he was a poor unknown dalith) In kerala. Pandalam Sudhakaran, raghuchandrabal,s.Ajaykumar etc are married from upper cast. they want to enjoy the life but they cannot do anything to their people. |

He was a greate man...Upon India's independence on August 15, 1947, the new Congress-led government invited Ambedkar to serve as the nation's first law minister, which he accepted. On August 29, Ambedkar was appointed Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee, charged by the Assembly to write free India's new Constitution. Ambedkar won great praise from his colleagues and contemporary observers for his drafting work

Control on your personal feelings. I believe all cast and community are equal and they should survive with their feelings and culture. Do you wish to make Dalitstan instead of Hindustan ? |

The upper caste people (Manuwadi) must note if they are not united, such type of comments are bound to be flung over them. Only we are to be blamed for such situation. This is one of the reasons, we want reservation system to be scrapped.

Hi everyone,
I'm pained to see that, in this forum to fight corruption, we fritter our energy fighing among ourselves on ever so many other issues. Politicians must be smiling. Because, we, the people get divided on the basis of a 1000 issues, but they all stand united on one the basis of just one cause, looting as much of our nation's money (in lakhs of crores these days) as possible. Can we sink our differences on all other issues and fight corruption standing together? Good and honest people can always resolve even the most unresolvable differences when we have rid ourselves of corruption in our midst. It is possible that some politicians may deliberately plant some ordinary looking people among us to divide the members of the civil society. We should watch out for such planted people, and avoid responding to their provocations on issues other than corruption. Thanks, Ganesan. :~) |
