It is a family of confusingly mixed nationality--Maino (italian), Prebedan (Slav), Daruwala (Parsee), Nehru (Kashmiri). In 1940, Jinnah demanded a separate nation for Muslims. We could not but concede, as Pakistan was created in 1947. In India, 83% population are Hindus. But why are we ruled by a family of genetic Irish stew, and a Roman Catholic mother-and-son team?
